A flash and a wish

Chapter 2

"well... okay you're right." Bev agreed. Eddie relaxed slightly and Bev nodded to herself. they'd made the correct choice staying, even if she wasn't going to be much help.

"go lay down for a bit. they'll be here soon. watch some tv and I'll bring you breakfast as soon as its done." Richie said, kissing his head. Eddie nodded and walked back to their bedroom. "go Ryu." Richie ordered, pointing after Eddie. the pup followed quickly.

"get off me stupid mutt!" Eddie hissed. Richie chuckled, knowing Eddie would cuddle the dog and relax after a bit.

"so, why don't you let Eddie go out when these people come over?" Ben ask.

"I don't control him, at all. he's terrified. he hates leaving the house because of these people." Richie sighed softly. "he doesn't sleep well because of them and the baby and he's not really doing so hot." Richie added.

"well, we'll help-" Bev started she was cut off with a knock. Richie sighed and headed for the door, not even faking a smile. he swung it open with a glare, before relaxing.

"oh, sorry guys. we've had a lot of people harassing us today, come on in." Richie said, letting the people in. college students, it appeared and there were four of them. "you do remember it's a two bedroom right?" Richie ask.

"yeah. me and my girl friend will share a room while those two spilt the other." one of the teens said. Richie nodded and stepped out of the way.

"I'm Richie, this is Ben and Bev. they're my friends. you can come on in and look around, however my fiancé is in the main room and you will not be allowed to enter until I talk to him." Richie warns. the teens shrugged and wondered around. everything of value had been removed and put into storage, except the items from their bedroom. the only tv left in the house and other important things were in their bedroom. they of course had a new house picked out and had paid off part of it, but were waiting until they sold their current house to move in completely.

"are you taking the couches?" the girl ask.

"nah, we're leaving it fully furnished." Richie smiled. she nodded and looked around.

"Richie?" Eddie called quietly. Richie turned from the teens and turned to head for his bedroom.

"whose that?" the girl ask.

"my miserable fiancé is sick and in bed." Richie replied, closing the door behind him. Eddie was curled up on his side, looking sick to his stomach. "hey Eds, you okay?" Richie ask. Eddie nodded slightly and patted the bed beside him.

"please?" Eddie ask quietly. Richie smiled at him and nodded.

"okay, just for a minute okay? those kids are here looking the house over." Richie murmurs. Eddie nods and clings to Richie.

"m'sorry.... I-I can let go. y-you can go back out there...." Eddie mumbled, looking tearfully at the wall.

"no, of course I'm going to lay with you baby. you're okay." Richie soothes, rubbing his back gently. Eddie curled up and rubbed his belly, cuddling to Richie.

"I'm hungry Chee." Eddie mumbled.

"okay baby, I'll go get you something, what are you hungry for?" Richie smiled, pulling him closer.

"pizza." Eddie mumbles into his chest.

"alright, pizza it is." Richie smiles getting up.

"thank you." Eddie mumbled, pulling the blankets around him. Richie kisses his head and smiles.

"mmhmmm. stay here. I'll get them to deliver." Richie said, getting up and closing the door. Eddie curled up on his side and yawned.

"okay. thanks." Eddie murmurs. Richie nods and smiles closing the door.
