Chapter 6: Monsters, monsters, monsters everywhere!!

I pop my hood on, and I walk into town, "Okay first things first, I need a Monster energy drink."

I walk into a convenience store, and I pick up a 4 pack of Monster. I pay for them, and I leave.

I'm walking down the street, drinking one of the Monsters, when I run into someone.

They knock me to the ground, and before we make eye contact, I run off.

"That could have gone a lot worse." I say to myself.

I realize that the sun is going down and it's getting dark. So I find a nice tree, in a place
that no one can see me. I climb it, and I fall asleep.

Aaron's P.O.V:

"STOP!!!!!!!" I scream in pain with tears in my eyes, she won't stop whipping me.

"TELL ME WHERE SHE IS!!!!" My mother yells at me.

"I told you. I don't know!!!" I scream back at her.

I run up to my room, and I'm panting as I'm locking the door.

I look around, I grab my school bag, and I fill it up with everything I think I'll need.

Once I'm done packing, I grab a Monster from my mini fridge, and I jump out of my two story window, landing on my feet.

I run into town, and once I'm far enough from the house, I slow down to a walk.

I pop on my hood, hoping that no one recognizes me.

"Now where on Earth can Mel be." I whisper to myself.

I sip on the Monster as I'm walking down the street. I sit down on a bench by this tall tree with lots of branches. I set my bag down on the ground by the bench, and I lay down on the bench, looking up at the sky.

•Melanie's P.O.V:

I start to tear up, "I just want to go home," I say.

Something then moves underneath the tree. I look to see what it is, a boy with a grey sweatshirt. I look closer, 'Is it Miles?' I ask myself.

The figure looks up, and it's face doesn't even look like one.

My heart starts pounding, 'Monsters monsters everywhere. Be careful of they'll eat you!' I think making a mental note to myself. The figure leaves, and my heart rate goes back to normal.
