Mingyu smiled widely upon seeing his daughter's car entering the gate of his house. The weekends was his favourite days of the week because his daughter was staying at his house. Eventhough she would just ignore him, giving him only a nod or simply brush him off. But he couldn't be angry at her for that because afterall, it was his mistake. He understood what she was feeling, it must've been a shock to her.

"Aera-ya, you're here!" Mingyu ran up to her and gave her a hug. "I've missed you."

Aera rolled her eyes as she awkwardly put her hands around her dad. "I'll be in my room," she broke off the hug and left him alone.

Closing the door behind her, she threw all her stuff to the floor and lay herself on her bed. She took out her phone and texted Wonwoo, saying she arrived.

Suddenly, a knock was heard and her door clicked open, "Aera-ya, do you need anything?" Her dad stood next to her bed.

"No," she let out an irritated sigh.

"Are you sure? Because if you need anything I'll get it for you or you can just tell the maids or-" Mingyu rambled only to be cut off.

"Yeah, I don't need anything. Just, please go," she almost begged him.

Mingyu smile dropped, "Okay, then. I'll be downstairs if you need anything."

"Yeah, sure." She said, not looking at her dad.

Mingyu closed the door quietly and made his way to the living room downstairs. This always happen, Aera giving him a cold shoulder, but why does it still feel painful? Mingyu only wanted to be close again with his daughter, playing games together and play pranks on each other. He missed those times where they would randomly draw on each other's faces, whenever they lose a game.

"Honey?" Mingyu came out of his thoughts when his husband called him. "Are you okay?" Jeonghan took a seat beside Mingyu and caressed his hand.

"I don't know." Mingyu laid his head on Jeonghan's lap.

"You need to give her more time, honey. She's only acting like this because she is hurt, and she is only shutting you off because she is doing the same towards her pain. She thought by shutting you off will heal her. Let her calm down by herself first, constantly begging her to forgive you will only anger her further, because it's up to herself, when she's ready, she will forgive you. Deep down, she wants to forgive you, but the pain was unbearable. And I know one day she will forgive you because she is a warm-hearted girl. You and Wonwoo raised her to be a great person." Jeonghan assured as he played with Mingyu's hair.

Letting out a shaky breath, he stared at his Jeonghan's face, "I hope you're right."
