Youngjae walked into the cafè, the strong scent of coffee entering his nostrils. He looked around, trying to spot the familiar face. He eventually found him, sitting in a booth, sipping his coffee silently while looking at something on his phone.

The cafè really brought back a lot of memories. It was where they first met. Youngjae was rushing to go to class but in the midst of the rush, he spilled his coffee all over Jaebum. Thankfully, Jaebum wasn't mad at him but reminded the younger to be more careful next time.

After Youngjae found out Jaebum went to the same school as him, he decided to make up to the elder by buying him lunch for three days. They sat together during lunch, every class they had together and class outings. They would go to the cafè every day after school without fail.

Without Jaebum, Youngjae felt incomplete.

Youngjae snapped back to reality and with a heavy heart, he walked over to Jaebum.

" Hi hyung, " Youngjae greeted the elder, plastering a fake smile on his face as he took a seat.

" Youngjae! Hi! " Jaebum grinned at the younger, putting his phone away.

God, he's adorable. Fuck, Youngjae. What are you saying? He's taken for God sake.

" How are you? " Jaebum asked.

Horrible. Depressed. Sad. Broken. Upset. Suicidal.

" I've been great! I'm so happy to see you successful, hyung, " Youngjae lied.

Suddenly, the elder's gaze softened.

" How have you been... with me gone without saying a single word? " He whispered softly.

" I was pretty upset but I got over it because I knew you had a good reason to leave. Besides, it's great to have you back! "

I wasn't pretty upset. I was broken.

I didn't get over it. I kept holding on to the fact that you left.

Jaebum smiled again. Youngjae had always loved his smile. The two talked about all the things that happened in their lives for the past years excluding Youngjae's problems. He didn't want to bother the elder. Besides, he was happy with Jinyoung.
