It had all taken Avery completely by surprise. He hadn't been prepared or ready for all of this and it all started with an unexpectedly thoughtless moment. He really wasn't sure what to do or how to fix this but it was something he had worried about relentlessly. The group was probably the only people he understood and the only ones who accepted him without hesitation but now it felt as if it was falling apart.

Avery knew for a fact that something wasn't right when Miko stormed through the house with tears in her eyes and he had taken it as an even worse sign when Jackson had followed after her and disappeared into her office with a look Avery was overly familiar with. Avery knew that whatever happened had not been between Jackson and Miko, whatever happened had Jackson staying close to her side and always within reach , so what had exactly happened?

Avery had found out later on when he finally spoke to Miko. She had explained that Caden had snapped at her for the fourth time because of a bad day and had yet again not apologized or showed any remorse. He had a huge problem now because Miko wanted Caden to come to her and apologize on his own to make it right but in her eyes he was just piling on excuses until he found one that let him avoid it.

Avery hadn't known what to do. To him Caden had seemed scared to lose two of his friends. Almost everyone knew that Jackson would go anywhere Miko went and vice versa because that was just how close and loyal the two were to each other. So he tried to step in, tried to fix the problem so the group would stay together. It wasn't going well and had become a shit show.

Jackson had stood firm beside Miko and had said he would go with her either way which, after some digging, had revealed that Caden had also been upsetting Jackson recently too. Miko, in true Miko fashion, was hurt and had tried her best to explain that ,even if Avery managed to patch this up, the only real solution would have to come from Caden himself caring enough to fight for the friendship and trust he had started to shatter.

Avery had fought down his initial panic attack to try to get the two within the same room so he could try and bridge the gap but so far it didn't like progress was being made. It really wasn't going well. Miko was reluctant to let Avery help because in her eyes Caden didn't care an ounce anymore and Caden was just as reluctant. Avery had no idea what to do or how to fix this mess but he was going to try his damnedest because he wouldn't let the people he loved most fall apart over this!

(A/N: A Test Of Patience is currently on hold due to myself and 'Caden' himself fighting but since I tend to use sparks of inspiration or sparks of things that happen to write I figured I would toss this up and leave you the note. Hopefully this crap will get fixed. If not we will be having a very sad and abrupt ending chapter coming up.)
