liah's pov

"bikes" val and i said as loudly as we could over the loud rain.

"oh we could give you guys a ride home" caleb sweetly offered and of course we agreed. couldn't be going cycling in the rain.

the car ride was filled with laughter and singing. i was on aux and what can i say. everyone loves my music taste.

we got back to my house and the rain was still very heavy. we were about to say our goodbyes, but val interrupted.

"do you guys wanna come in. it's cold we could get hot coco?" val suggested.

"yeah sure let's go" caleb said exiting the car walking towards my front door.

i was about to get out the car to follow malachi and val but malachi put his hand on my thigh. and not gonna lie i got butterflies.

"wait" he sort of whispered. we sat silent until caleb and val got inside.

"why did u want me to wait?" i questioned.

malachi's pov

i had been thinking of this the whole ride back from the shack. i literally just met her but i felt literally so close to her.

she is everything i like in a girl and i just the the urge to tell her how i felt.

"um i just wanted to say u really had fun today. it was so good getting to know you and i really hope we could spend more time together this summer. i've only known your for literally 2 hours but i don't know, i just want to be with you. hold you and never let you go."  she was about to speak, but i cut her off.

i kissed her.

i can't belive i fucking kissed her.

liah's pov

i was about to tell him i feel the same way but i though it was too early, it yet again my thoughts were interrupted by malachi kissing me.

he fucking kissed me.

i was shocked at first but i melted into the kiss and it felt as it it lasted for forever.
