Chapter 22 Don't Play with Electricity!

Third P.O.V

Our Heroes just arrived at Lumiose City. "I know that this will make Sophocles happy!" Lillie exclaimed. "Sylve?" Sylveon asked quizzingly. "I'm thankful that I have Luna with me, if I left it home, who knows what kind of disasters would occur." Leah said as she brought out a Shiny Eevee that was smaller than the original height and was wearing a diaper. "It's so small!" Bonnie exclaimed. "Yeah, Luna hatched prematurely, which is why it's smaller than the average Eevee." Gladion stated. "Vee?" Luna asked. Then Bonnie grabbed it. "Be gentle Bonnie, Luna doesn't like it when you're rough with it." Leah said, but Bonnie didn't listen. Then Luna started crying loudly. "And I have to be the hero in this story!" Gladion said a bit annoyed as he gently grabbed Luna and calmed it down. "Wow you're good, for someone who usually stays away from society." Serena said. "Haha, real funny, Serena." Gladion said sarcasm dripping from his voice. Luna was asleep. Leah decided to withdraw Luna for safety reasons. "Well I'm hungry!" Leah exclaimed. "You're always hungry." Gladion said in annoyance. "What can I say? I love food!" Leah said. "You raid the fridge when you're at my place." Lillie said in annoyance. "Actually I raid the fridge anywhere I'm at." Leah said proudly. "Well Good for you!" Serena said. Gladion was laughing at Leah's antics. "You people are weird!" Lusamine said. "I know right! That's the whole point of it!" Leah exclaimed. "Glaceon, Glace!" Glaceon said. The group decided to walk around the city for a little while. "Hello, Fellow Trainers!" Tupp said. "What are you guys up to again!?" Leah said. "We're just here to ruin your day!" Tupp answered. "Seriously, What are you guys up to!?" Leah said losing her temper. "We want that smol Eevee, yeah we saw it yo!" Tupp said. "I'm not giving you Luna, if you want it you'll have to battle me! Go ahead Glaceon!" Leah said. The three grunts sent out their Pokémon. "Glaceon use Blizzard!" Leah told her partner. "Glaceon!" Glaceon exclaimed as it one shotted the three grunts' Pokémon. "We're out of here!" Tupp exclaimed as they withdrew their Pokémon and ran off. Leah sighed in annoyance, "Idiots..." She said. "Tell me about it." Gladion said agreeing with Leah. "We still have some time before Leah's gym battle." Serena said. "I'll be frolicking in the Pokémon Lab if you need me!" Leah said. Lusamine and Gladion decided to stay with Leah. "I'm going to a grooming facility so Furfrou can look cute!" Lillie said. "I'll go with Lillie." Serena said. "I'm going to practice that Z-Move that Leah gave me!" Bonnie said. "I'll stay with Bonnie." Korrina said. "Okay then, we meet at Prism Tower, see y'all later!" Leah said. And with that they left sides.

On Leah's side, the trio walked in the Pokémon lab. "Hello? Professor Sycamore are you here?" Leah yelled. Professor Sycamore walked out of his hiding spot. "Well hello there Leah!" He cheerfully said. "So where are the others?" He asked. "Everyone else are off doing their own thing until we're ready for my gym battle." Leah specified. "Interesting. Who are you two?" He asked. "I'm Lusamine, this is my son Gladion!" Lusamine said cheerfully. "You must be the President of the Aether Foundation, it's nice to meet you acquaintance, Miss Lusamine." Sycamore said. "Please there's no need to be formal, I'm here for a little vacation anyway." Lusamine told Sycamore. "Oh and Leah how is that little Zorua doing?" Sycamore asked. "I released Veevee shortly after it evolved, it reunited with its father." Leah told Sycamore. "That's great! You are a very unique trainer indeed Leah." Sycamore said. "Leah's mentality has always been others' happiness before hers." Gladion stated. Leah was playing with Fluffy.

-Flashback-

Leah and Gladion were playing in the snow on Mount Lanakila, until they heard the cries of an injured Vulpix. "Should we help it?" Leah asked. "I want to, but the Ninetales are quite nasty even if we try to help their pack member." Gladion stated. "Well there's no loss in trying and besides Vulpix is suffering, I hate seeing Pokémon suffer." Leah said. Gladion agreed with Leah. They walked up to the Vulpix, whom was being guarded by the pack leader, a majestic Ninetales. Leah pat Ninetales to assure it that they weren't a threat. "Don't worry, we won't hurt your Vulpix, we're just here to help." Leah told Ninetales. "Ninetale!" Ninetales said as it gave Leah and Gladion permission to help Vulpix. "I need a Full Restore. Eevee can you get that for me?" Leah said. "Eevee vee!" Eevee said as it gave Leah the full restore. Then Leah healed Vulpix, who jumped happily as it realized that its pain was gone. Ninetales gave Leah one of its eggs as a thank you gift. Leah pat Ninetales again, "I will take good care of it, I hope we meet again, Ninetales." Leah told Ninetales. "You're able to create bonds with any kind of Pokémon, that's so cool!" Gladion exclaimed. "Hey How about a Snowball fight!" Leah suggested playfully. "You're on!" Gladion playfully said. The two started throwing each other snowballs and grabbing snow and shoving it in their coats until they got tired and decided to call it a day. The next day, they both caught a cold much to their parents' dismay.

"Maybe we should meet the others at Lumiose Tower." Leah said. Gladion nodded as they left for Lumiose Tower, when everyone were there they decided to get inside. Then Clemont appeared! "I'm assuming that you're here for a gym battle!" He said. "Well duh!" Leah playfully exclaimed. "Alright Bunnelby!" Clemont said as he sent out Bunnelby. "I thought this was an electric type gym." Lillie said. "Bunnelby huh, well then here's my Pokémon, Go Lycanroc!" Leah called out. "But Lycanroc is injured!" Gladion exclaimed. "It was, seems like the wound healed perfectly fine." Lillie said. "Bunnelby use dig!" Clemont told Bunnelby. "Well I thought you'd do that, Lycanroc use Acceleroc and then use Iron tail on the ground." Leah told her partner. Lycanroc used Acceleroc then it used Iron Tail on the ground. "I remember that strategy! Ash used it in a battle that we had on Poni Island!" Gladion said. Bunnelby was sent flying in the air. "Use Mud Slap!" Clemont told Bunnelby. "Lycanroc use Stone Edge!" Leah told Lycanroc. Not only did Stone Edge block Mud Slap, it also caused damage to Bunnelby. Bunnelby was panting, while Lycanroc's health was perfectly fine. "Bunnelby use Double Slap!" Clemont told Bunnelby. "Use Iron Tail, Lycanroc!" Leah told Lycanroc. "Grab it Bunnelby!" Clemont told Bunnelby. "Great catch, but whatcha gonna do about it!" Leah said. "Lycanroc use Rock Slide!" Leah told Lycanroc. This fainted Bunnelby. Leah withdrew Lycanroc because it just healed from its injury and she didn't wanted to strain on it too much. Clemont sent out Heliolisk while Leah sent out Primarina. "Leah has a type disadvantage, Heliolisk is a normal and electric type, Primarina's water typing gives it a real bad risk!" Lillie said. "Heliolisk use Thunder Wave!" Clemont told Heliolisk. "Primarina dodge it and use Moonblast!" Leah told Primarina. Primarina used Moonblast, but it was soon hit by Heliolisk's Parabolic Charge, dealing a lot of damage due to Primarina's Type disadvantage. Leah got concerned for her starter, but she proceeds for her next move. "Use Dazzling Gleam!" Leah told Primarina. Primarina used the move, but it was hit with a Focus Blast which fainted Primarina. "I won't call for Glaceon just yet, Go Lycanroc!" Leah said. "Lycanroc use Stealth Rock!" Leah told her partner. "Heliolisk use Thunder Wave!" Clemont told Heliolisk. Thunder Wave paralyzed Lycanroc. "Lycanroc, use Stone Edge!" Leah told Lycanroc. Stone Edge hit Heliolisk causing some damage. "Being that Lycanroc is Paralyzed and can't move swiftly, Leah may use a series of Stone Edge." Lillie said. Clemont told Heliolisk to use Focus Blast, but then Lycanroc shook off the paralysis and attacked with a strong Iron Tail, fainting Heliolisk. That's when Clemont sent out Luxray. "Luxray use Electric Terrain!" Clemont told Luxray. "Electric Type moves will now be boosted!" Lillie exclaimed in worrisome. "Yes, but Leah dealt a little damage with Lycanroc's Stealth Rock." Gladion said. "Now Lycanroc use Iron Tail!" Leah told Lycanroc as it done what it was told. Clemont told Luxray to use Wild Charge which fainted Lycanroc. "Now Glaceon show 'em your Icy Glare!" Leah said as she sent out Glaceon of its Luxury Ball. "Glaceon use Hail!" Leah told her partner. The Electric Terrain dissipated and it started Hailing. Clemont told Luxray to use Swift, which Leah told Glaceon to dodge and to use Frost Breath. Glaceon use Frost Breath which was countered with a Wild Charge followed by a Thunder Fang which dealt damage on Glaceon, but that didn't stop Leah from using one of the strongest Ice Type Moves, Blizzard. Blizzard fainted Luxray earning Leah the Voltage badge. And with that the group decided to stay in Lumiose because it was late before heading for Laverre City.

With the Voltage Badge in her collection, Leah has three more gyms to face before returning home to the Alola region. What will happen next? Stay Tuned as the journey continues!
