James saw Clementine hiding behind a tree, you probably think it's weird and disturbing but in fact he was in love with the brunette.

Every day I watched her from afar admiring every detail of her, the way she flies her hair when she moves, the way she laughs, the way her eyes shine when she plays baseball, she loved all that of her.

One day he watched her talking to Louis, something that saddened the young man, he knew he couldn't compare himself with him, Louis was funny, friendly and a good friend, while James was very shy, introverted and lonely.

Even if it broke his heart, he would accept their relationship if that made Clementine happy.

"Leave me alone Gabe!" James was taken out of his thoughts by the scream of the brunette.

Turning, she saw that Gabe was standing in front of her, joining her friends Justin and Cody. "Come on Clem, don't make it difficult, I just asked you for a date."

"And I already told you no, get out!"

"Hey! Don't even think I'm going to accept no for an answer." Gabe said abruptly taking Clem's wrist.

James wanted to help Clem, but he didn't want to fight, he was a pacifist.

But he didn't want to see how they hurt Clem either, so without thinking twice he left his hiding place to back Clem.

"Hey!" He said in a firm voice. "Leave her alone."

"Or what?" Gabe said making his friends approach James.

James was at a disadvantage of three against one, Justin and Cody took James by the arms and Gabe hit him in the stomach.

"Not that you were very brave?" Gabe said giving him another punch in the face.

Being distracted, Clem gave him a tackling, knocking him down.

Taking advantage of the distraction James gave Cody a header in the face and punched Justin with his free hand.

With both of them on the ground, James rushed at Gabe who was on top of Clem, putting his hands on his head.

"Now if you're going to see, fucking bitch." Gabe said before being pulled by James.

Gabe tried to punch James just to be dodged by him while James hit his jaw by knocking him down instantly.

James will be a pacifist but he had very hard fists, leaving Gabe unconscious.

James ran to Clem who was still on the ground. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked shaking hands.

"Yes thanks." She said taking James's hand. "Wow, you left him cold."

"Amm ... Y-yes." He rubbed his neck timidly.

"Hey, your nose is bleeding."

"Oh ... Amm ..."

"Come let me help you." Clem said taking a handkerchief out of his pocket.

James blushed when the brunette gently took her chin and wiped her nose.

"And ... What is my knight's name in shining armor?" That's just enough to make James's nose bleed more.

"Ah ... Amm ... J-James."

"Well James, how can I thank you for this?"

James was in a panic. He wanted to ask the brunette for a date, but he was very shy.

"Aamm ... D-Do you want... to take an ice cream w-with me?" He asked without realizing it.

"...Of course I would love to."
