Mitch was sitting on the bench watching his girlfriend Clementine play, they were both star players on the Ericson High School football team, had a great connection when making his passes and walls with excellent technique, that's why they were both called "The Golden Duet."

Clementine had great ball control, her clean passes and teasing made her an indomitable player.

While Mitch had a more aggressive and raw style, his sweeps and shoulder-to-shoulder burdens made his very presence intimidating.

When they played together, they were both unstoppable.

His team played against Rockingham High School, where Minerva and Gabe played, the two most hateful and cheating players of the season, but both agreed to have a fresh mind and not let the tricks of the opposing team affect them.

Mitch was waiting on the bench for the coach to put him in at the right time, 2 minutes left for the first half to end.

Clementine led his team to the front, having a great advantage of 5-2, Violet threw a long pass at Clem.

Clem and Minerva ran towards the ball in the air, both gave a great jump trying to reach the ball.

Clementine was going to headbutt him while Minerva chose to kick him, but the ball had passed and Minerva kicked Clem's neck by knocking her out instantly.

Seeing this, Mitch got up from the bench and ran to help his girlfriend.

"Clem? Clem! Are you okay?" Brody asked making her react.

"Aaauuu... What?" Asked Clem dazedly.

"Off to the side, let me pass." Mitch said passing through the crowd.

Mitch lifted Clem in his arms. "Oh my prince charming!"

"Oh my baby!" Mitch said about to kiss her.

"MITCH" Louis yelled.

"What?! She's my girlfriend! What do you care?!" Mitch growled.

"Mitch, your girlfriend is stunned!" Marlon recalled.

"Ah ... Right." Mitch charged Clementine in a bridal style to the infirmary.

Mitch entered the infirmary and laid Clem down, who had passed out halfway on a bed.

"Ok Ruby? go get alcohol and cotton." Coach said.

Ruby moistened the cotton ball with the alcohol and ran it through Clem's nose making her react.

"Clem? How do you feel?" Asked the coach.

"Auu... Au... Doctor? Doctor, how did I get out of the operation, doctor?" Clem asked taking Louis's hands.

"I am not a doctor nor are you leaving, you are entering and I am Saint Peter."

"Louis, leave her alone!" Violet snapped.

"Amm... Boys? Clem passed out again." Brody said.

"Give me the cotton." Mitch said grabbing the cotton, he carefully took Clem's head and passed the cotton over his nose.

"Eh?"

"Clem? Clem, are you alright?"

"Mhmm." Clem replied with closed eyes.

"Mitch, take it, put it on the back of the neck." Marlon gave Mitch an ice bag.

"Well, it seems that Clem is in no condition to follow the match." The coach concluded. "Sophie? You walk into Clementine's place."

"Yes sir." Sophie replied.

"All right, the others, to the field."

"Yes sir." They all said in unison.

"Mitch?" Louis called.

"I... Amm..."

"It's okay, Mitch, we'll let you know if the coach calls you." Violet stated.

"Thanks, guys."

After they both left Clem had slightly opened his eyes.

"Hey Clem."

"Hi Mitchy~" Clem greeted with a silly smile.

"Mitchy?" Mitch thought looking towards the entrance. "Thank God no one heard that."

"How are you feeling, Clem?"

"Better now that you're with me."

"Well, that's what boyfriends are for."

"Do you give me love?" This question made Mitch blush, Clem was not one to ask for affection, she was too rude for that.

"D-do you want me to love you?"

"Mmhmm..." She gently nodded.

"Hug me." Mitch settled next to Clem wrapping her in his arms snuggling up to each other.

"That's OK?"

"Mmhmm..." She nodded softly. "Mitchy~"

They both snuggled closer, Clem hid his face in Mitch's neck and he rested his jaw on Clem's head.

"MITCHY AND CLEMMY?!! JAJAJAJA"

Mitch jumped up to see Louis and Violet from the entrance to the infirmary with Louis recording everything with his cell phone.

Mitch wanted to get up to hit them both but Clementine was holding on to him without wanting to let go.
