My eyes stung with tears as my eyes started to close, my face was probably purple now from the lack of oxygen. "Mitzuki!" Somebody called out as the dude's face turned to that direction. Before he knew it some white haired dude pushed him off me making him and the other dude fall off me. I sat up as I took a breath vigorously. My heart was beating so fast and I felt so dizzy. "Ayami- chan! Gurl are you okay, who am I kidding, of course not, quick somebody call 911!!I swear, I will sue you mitzuki-kun!" Miki-chan rambled as she pushed through the crowd and crouched down, caressing my hair as I tried to catch my breath.
"I-i-i-im, I-i" I tried to form a sentence but I couldn't breath properly. "You? you?you what?" Mimi said trying to shake the words out of me. " I-im okay" I managed to say as I stood up and dusted the dust off my uniform. I looked at the guy who tried to kill me to see that four other guys were holding him back. I stared at him in fear as I backed away and tried to run. I halted for a second before bowing 90 degrees forward and spoke the words 'GOMEN' NASAI' and ran away with Miki following behind me.
Once we reached the school building I quickly turned my gaze towards Miki and breathed heavily. "This is why I never want to go and talk back" i said as she gave me a frown. "I'm sorry about telling you to do that" she apologized. "No no it's just I don't think I can face him after that" I said. "Who?" " you know, the black haired dude" "ah, mitzuki-kun?"" yes! That dude"
"He has serious anger issues" Miki-chan said and suddenly the bell rang. "C'mon ayami, let's go to class" Miki-chan said and dragged me slowly to the classroom. "Are you going anywhere after class?" She asked. " I have a part time job, so yeah" I said and she stared at me, curiosity written in her face. "Where, maybe you could give me some of them free food ya know" she said nudging me pkayfully. I laughed at her and shook my head. "If that's the case then I have to keep the place a secret" I joked and she just gave me an angry duck face.
I laughed at her and slapped her back. "Yo what was that for?" She spoke closely to my face which made me laugh even more. " you really have a bad sense of humour" she said and i gave her the angry duck face she gave me making both of us laugh. "Perfect Brew cafe, come any time, athough most of our choices are coffee and there is barely any tea" I said. "Okay I'll just stay there and order water every minute" she said and i laughed once again. "Ok let's go, before people think your a maniac" Miki-chan said and dragged me inside the class.

Class ended as everyone stood up and grabbed their bags. "I gotta go now miki-chan, I'll see you tomorrow" I said as I grabbed my bag and walked to the gate with Miki-chan beside me. "Give me your phone number" she said and i grinned awkwardly, adjusting my glasses. "I don't have a phone" I said and she just looked at me sadly. "That's pretty sad, why don't you buy one?" She said.
" Gurl, so you know how broke I am? " I said trying to let her see the point. "Then how'd you get into this school?" She asked. " I spend most of my money for education so that when I get a job they will see how worthy I am for it and then they will accept me easily " I explained and she nodded.
"Anyways, bye miki-chan!" I saved goodbye and she returned it. I walked to the cafe which was nearby and opened the door, the scent of coffee hitting my nose instantly. "Ayami-chan!" The girl with pink hair who I had known as my non-biological sister, Hani-chan, said as she hugged me. "Hani-chan, I missed you onee-chan" I said as I hugged back.
She pulled away as she finger combed her hair . Hani-chan is really pretty, sh her Ie had long wavy pink hair and pink eyes, she had the brightest smile that could light up anyone's day, she had the perfect eyes and nose and her cheeks were rosy pink, just like her lips.
She wore the cafe's uniform which was a white shirt and a brown apron which had the cafe's name on it. She had the perfect life and she studied at royale bloom university, a school for the rich, talented and smart people. She is really rich and talented and smart but she insisted on working here because she loves serving other some sweets and coffee. She is extremely kind, sweet and super nice.
I'm the total opposite of her, I am not even a single bit pretty, I wore big round glasses and I had medium length hair that had the lightest shade of brown and I had bangs. I had huge blue eyes and I had cheeks and lips that had the lightest shade of pink. I liked wearing clothes that was twice bigger as my size and I wasn't even the slightest bit confident and I wasn't talented nor genius smart.
"Anyways, let's go and put your uniform on, we got some customers to serve" Hani-chan said and smiled at me gently. I nodded and returned the smile before following her to the staff room. "Here you go ayami-chan" Hani-chan said as she handed me my uniform. I took it and went to the locker room before slipping out of my school uniform and into the cafe uniform.
I went out to see everyone busy serving customers, greeting them, serving them food, taking their orders and stuff. I went to Hani-chan who was taking orders and tapped her shoulders "i'll take their dine-in order you take their take out order so you won't walk around too much" I said and she just shook her head no. "Its okay ill-" "no hani-chan, it's okay, I insist." I said and she just kept silent and smiled, handing over the little sticky note and pen that was used to take orders.
" Thank you ayami-chan" Hani-chan said before heading to the cashier where people order stuff to take out. did I forget to mention, Hani-chan got into an accident when she was little and now she can't maintain her balance, she stumbles sideways when she stand still and would stumble forward or backward when she walks.
"Hello, I am ayami and I'll be taking your order, so please choose whatever you want" I said as I handed over the menu I had in hand. I may not have the courage to face people but when it comes to taking their order then I'm stable. "Uhh...the Chocolate cake and some coffee latte please" a woman said as I wrote it down and faced the man who was still deciding what to choose.
"Give me the hot cocoa with whip cream, that will do" he said as I nodded and write it down. "Your order will arrive soon"I said before putting a number 5 on their table. I headed to the little mix in the wall nearby and pressed the button that was connected to the speaker in the kitchen. "One chocolate cake, one coffee latte and one hot cocoa with whip cream on top for table 5" I spoke on the little mix as a voice responded an ok.

After about an hour of taking orders for customers I sat down on an empty chair and stared at the scene in front of me there were not as many as the customers a while ago as some of the staff served their food. "Tired?" I looked behind to see Hani-chan smiling at me. " I could take over if you want" she offered but I smiled at her and spoke "it's okay" I said as she sat down before to me. "There's no more customers that want to order take outs so yeah" she said.
The wind chimes suddenly made a sound as I looked to the door. "Eek" a shriek came out of my mouth as I stared at five boys with five different hair colors trying to find an empty table. HIS eyes suddenly met mine making me cover my face with the menu in reflex. "Are you okay ayami-chan?" Hani-chan asked worried making me laugh nervously. " of course, I'm just checking the food in the menu ya know, hahaha" I said roaming my eye around the menu.
"B-but ayami-chan it's upside down" she said as I looked at it and noticed it too. "Ahaha, silly me, I definitely knew that" I nervously said and rotated it. I peeked to their direction to see them heading our way. I quickly stood up and quickly spoke without stopping in between "igottagoandeatmycakesoseeyahanichan" I sprinted towards the kitchen and hid behind koko-kun's back, another close friend of mine.
"Ayami-chan are you okay?" He asked as he decorated the cake that one customer ordered. " hahaha ofcourse" I said and headed towards hani-chan. "Hani-chan I know I said it's okay but can you take their order? " I asked and she just nodded. 'phew, fina-' "ayami-chan, they said they want you to take their order" Hani-chan said making me gulp and regret being alive big time.
