Hi. I'm Kayla. Wait, how cliché am I to start a story with 'hi'? I hate being cliché but I think sometimes cliché can be good. Like when you don't want to stand out. When you want to fit in and be normal. But as I said I absolutely hate cliché. People imitating each others dumb actions so that other dumb people can approve of them. So dumb! Okay, well let me start again in my ordinary cliché manner.
Hi. I'm Kayla. I'm 19 and I am a Guardian Angel. I'm sure you've heard many stories about Guardian Angels. Yeah, all of those are FAKES. My story is real and if you don't wanna hear it, I'm not forcing you, but if you do then I'm here to do the best I can to tell you. I live in the Sky Division in a school dorm with a girl called Hannah. She's okay I guess, but she's one of the Belle's. The Belle's are what me and my gang call the super annoying prissy girls who think they're the center of the universe. Hannah isn't as bad as most of them but her porcelain(don't touch me) side can get really strong sometimes, which means she gets incredibly annoying. Me and Hannah (and all the other students) go to school every day just like normal humans. We learn all the ordinary subjects and like them we have lockers, books, a cafeteria and all the other normal school stuff. The only difference is that we are trained in magic and combat as well. And we also need to wear our Shangna to school. We practically need to wear it 24/7. A Shangna is a special object we each own. They are usually worn in the form of jewellery but I've seen a few exceptions. My Shangna is a little charm bracelet with the charm of a cloud acting as the KTT. The KTT (also reffered to as the Key To Transportation) is like a portal between here and the Human World. To travel you have to hold your KTT and say the location you want to travel to. As Guardian Angels we are all assigned a human to ... Well guard. We protect our humans from demons and evil night walkers. But more about that in a minute. Back to the Shangnas. Our teachers get notifications all the time about the people we guard needing help. They just simply say something like 'Anna, go, 36 George's Avenue N.Y' and Anna would hold her KTT and whisper the address. Then she would simply just dissapear into thin air. It was normal. She'd be back in a few hours and back to class. Teachers didn't expect you to finish homework or learn anything you missed. You were excused for that particular lesson. In exams it was brilliant to get above 40% and the excuse 'I was gone to the Human World' was always valid. Now a bit more on our 'humans'.
Fact no.1 - We aren't allowed to call them our 'humans'. It's the total opposite. We are their Guardians.
Fact no.2 - We were all once human. When we die we're all turned into Guardian Angels.
Fact no.3 - When a human dies their Guardian Angel dies with them. The Angel is then reborn as a baby and the human becomes an Angel.
Fact no.4 - If it is your first time dying you have to learn how to become a Guardian Angel.
Fact no.5 - If you were reborn you remember all your Guardian Angel experiences from the old times and you don't have to be trained.
Fact no.6 - When Angels are reborn quite a few times their minds start to overload with memories and they die as Angels. They are then reborn as a totally new human who - when they die - doesnt know anything about the Angel world.
Fact no.7 - We do not remember the people we once were as humans, nor do we remember our family or friends. All our human life is forgotten as Angels. Well... Maybe everyone's ...Apart from mine....
