The Accident

Chapter two: bad idea

Abigail and Meiling were having a fun time. They were talking about softball and soccer. "wow i wish i was good at soccer like you" Abigail says looking at Meilings trophy's. "Well I wish I was good at softball." "You can be you just need practice." Abigail said getting up. "Same to you too!" Meilinh said mocking Abigail. "but like im not in shape." Abigail said looking at her stomach. "we can get you in shape. run ten laps around my room now!" Meilinh urges Abigail. "WHAT!" Screams Abigail. "GO GO GO GO!" Abigail gets up in a rush and starting running around as fast as she could. "and... done" Meilings says just as Abigail finished her tenth lap. "why did i do that?" Abigail said painting out of breath. "to get you in shape." Says meiling so surly

"i'm not even going to play soccer." Abigail says with a stating fact."why not?" "because i can't even kick a ball correctly." "lets go outside and i'll teach you." Meiling says walking out her room. "no, its pouring out there!" "it's fine, we just need to play in the street because if we play in the grass the ball will get stuck in the water." Abigail then walks up to her "are you crazy!" " well yes now let's go!" "no we are not going out side at all. its too dangerous." Abigail says putting her foot down. "how?"

" what do you mean how? a car could hit us at any moment. We could get kidnapped, we could get struck by lightning!" Abigail says in fear. "what cars will be out at 12:00 in the morning, in the pouring rain, and really what chance do you have seeing another person in the rain or getting struck by lightning?" Meiling says so surly. "okay fine, but promise me you'll stay safe." "fine i promise."

Abigail and Meiling walk downstairs. Meiling grabbed a soccer ball. Abigail sat down and pet timber for a few seconds. Meiling sat down right next to her. " hey don't be worried I'll be fine. Why are you so scared?" "Well meiling, your my best friend and I just feel like since I'm the oldest I should be looking out for you." Meiling looks down then back at Abigail. "Hey how about after this we come back inside and get some ice cream from the freezer." Meiling said this with a big smile. " well... I thought I was trying to get in shape." Abigail said sarcastically. "Shut up." Meiling said laughter and pausing Abigails shoulder. " Abigail, if anything happens I'll be fine. We will be safe in Gods hands. Thanks for looking out for me though." " of course. Your basically my sister."

Abigail gets up and unlocks the door. Meiling follows right behind holding her soccer ball. They walk outside and see it's pouring. They walk past the driveway to the street. Abigail looks around for people and cars and sees no sign. "You ready?!" Meiling says super loud so Abigail can hear. " yes!" Abigail said loud back. But inside Abigails heart she feels there is something going to happen. So she just keeps aware of everything
