The Winter Maiden:
The Winter Maiden is Guardian of the Deceased, her duties involving guiding the lost souls to their destination of Heaven and Hell. Her many forms stretch across the world, invisible to the living as she leads all to safety. Her real form is only seen by the living. She is able to see the dead, and also hear them all. Due to her duties in dealing with the most anguished spirits, the Winter Maiden is always subdued and quiet, cold and distant to others apart from her fellow Maidens. She has the powers of Cryokinesis, and can also summon the spirits of the beasts she has slain. The Winter Maiden's favoured weapon, is a rapier, or a thin sword. The Winter Maiden's complexion is one of snow white skin, with snowdrops growing from their skin, pointed ears and snow-cloud silver eyes. She is the muted appearance, yet her subdued features can make her enticing to others around her. Her eyes are constantly glowing faintly from the silver, though this amplifies when she uses her powers.
The Spring Maiden:
The Spring Maiden is Guardian of Mystic Beings, her duties falling towards the protection of all creatures paranormal. To match her duties, the Spring Maiden's personality is brave and nurturing, open to all creatures lost and afraid. She protects them from Hunters that wish to extinguish paranormal beings, but prefers to fight in a humane way, avoiding damaging conflict and trying to settle matters peacefully, though she will stand and fight to the death should her hand be forced. The Spring Maiden's weapon is a spear, but also a Trident when transformed, and has the ability of Hydrokinesis as well as heightened Empathy towards all creatures. She is kind and gentle, like a steady stream, but also fierce and unending, like a raging tsunami. The Spring Maiden's appearance matches her water ability, with blue skin and teal coloured hair. From her skin grows water lilies, with pointed ears as well. Her eyes glow sky blue when using her abilities.
The Summer Maiden:
The Summer Maiden is Mother of The Earth, and some call her Mother Nature. Her duties are to protect all things living, and so shares a large connection to her fellow Spring Maiden, as she shares duties with protecting the Paranormal. The Summer Maiden however, is more connected to mankind and animals, protecting them and urging on evolution. Her abilities of Aerokinesis and Earth Manipulation makes her the Maiden most connected to nature, and her home lies in the great forests of the world. The Summer Maiden is perhaps the most peaceful of the four, preferring to remain unseen and observing the world, stepping in when the trees and animals are left in danger, she is kind to all, but is not afraid to find Humans who wish to greedily destroy the lands. She has a will of steel and the strength to match, her preferred weapon being a Battle Axe and Shield. The Summer Maiden's appearance matches the nature around her, with light green skin and hair, with evergreen leaves and vines growing from her skin, alongside the usual pointed ears. Her eyes glow green when she uses her abilities.
The Autumn Maiden:
The Autumn Maiden is Hunter of Malevolence, and is the most wild of the four. Her duties do not lie within the Earth, they lie in the dimensions where creatures wait to invade and obliterate life. Her forms of Pyrokinesis gives her several different ways of manipulating fire, each one useful in dealing with a different opponent. Her other power is known as World-Walking, as she steps between worlds as she hunts for the creatures she has detected. The Autumn Maiden is aggressive and merciless, yet her fire also makes her passionate and unafraid of speaking her mind. She is the Maiden who expresses the most affection towards her peers alongside the Spring Maiden, and her rage could shake the world if those she cares for were hurt or killed. She is the Maiden of battle, and her weapon, the Snake Sword, makes sure of it. The Autumn Maiden has the most passionate colours, with blood red skin and dark auburn hair, with an assortment of Autumn leaves of yellow, orange and red growing from her skin. Her eyes glow orange when using her abilities.
