The day had become an eventful one as soon as Bill met up with Richie and Eddie. The two were chaotic and helped bounce Bill back above the line, it helped his creativity like no other. The trio sat together on the curb by the gas station after they ran around the town causing terror. Bill laid back and relaxed a bit with a smile on his face as he hummed.

"Th-thank you guh-guys, I've needed s-some relaxation," Bill told them looking over at the others. They smiled and Richie ruffled his hair grinning.

"Anything for you Big Bill, Eds and I are always here if you wanna hang out," Richie laughed more and loosely wrapped an arm around Eds. Bill could tell the two had some kind of tension between them, loving almost. But it's the 80s so being gay wasn't something you could share.  Richie knew this first hand.

Eddie sat up a bit and looked at his watch, "I have to go soon, my mom will send out a search party if I don't come home soon," Eddie told the two as he stood up going to his bike. Richie said his goodbyes in no rush to get home. Bill also wanted to stay out a bit later so he waved as Eddie rode his bike away.

The two waited for a few minutes before Richie dramatically threw himself to the ground. "God damn it why is he so cute!" Bill bust out laughing as he watched Richie complain about his crush on Eddie. This was a common happening when the two friends were alone. Bill never really spoke about his crushes since he never had one. Well except for Beverly Marsh, but it wasn't like how Richier feels for Eddie.

"Bill, you seriously don't find any of the girls at school hot? Or guys for that matter," Richie asked him still surprised.

"Yeah, n-no one ex-except for that s-summer crush," Bill shrugged telling the truth.

Richie was going to make another comment but he got up quickly with a grin on his face and yelled at a kid on his bike. "STAN THE MAN!"

Bill jumped and got up with Richie going over to the kid on the bike. He had curly hair and was dressed crisply. When he turned to face them his face held a serious look and glared at Richie. His beautiful brown eyes and stern look caught Bill off guard. His heart jumped a bit as he looked at "Stan the Man"

"Richie, what do you want, I have to be somewhere," He grumbled and then glanced at the semi flustered Bill.

Richie laughed heartily and went up to him, hugging him tightly, "I just wanted to say hi sheesh, Stanly. Oh, also this is Bill, he needs new friends."

"H-hey! B-Beep Beep R-Richie," Bill punched him playfully and looked back at Stan.  The two made eye contact and Bill felt his heart leap again. He couldn't tear his eyes away from him he was lost.

"Well, nice to meet you Bill, but I have to hurry home to help, I'll see you," Stan said riding away leaving Bill in awe. Bill shook his head and took a deep breath. He felt the urge to write in his journal.

Richie had a dumb grin on his face, "I think you have a crush on Stannn~!" He teased smiling and watched Bill's cheeks go bright red. Bill shook his head denying any claims and tried to make up an excuss and he stuttered. Richie was right though, he did have a crush on Stan, or at least he thought he did.

After a few hours, the two parted ways and Bill went home, the flutter of his heart in his chest at the thought of the curly-haired boy. He needed to write it down, the writers' block slowly dissipating the more he thought about Stan. He wanted to see him again and meet up with him. Bill went to his room and waved a quick hello to his brother and mother. When he sat in bed he flipped open his journal and started to write.

Dear Diary,

today was amazing... i met this boy, his name was Stanly and he just... takes my breath away. he's so handsome and i want to meet him. he is so different from everyone else I have ever met. even if it was only for a moment it was amazing. i hope i can see Stan again soon.

enough lovesick though. today was a great day, i feel like writing for once and it's a nice change to feel like i actually can. i should head to bed soon though so i'll leave this here.

Bill- august 10, 1991

Bill set the journal to the side and wen to his desk starting to write. Now the words flowed more smoothly and made more sense. This made him relax and smile as he wrote the beginning to the story that he'd been wanting to write for months now. Now the words felt natural and he could thank Stan for reinspiring him to start his writing passion again like no other.
