*HUEY'S POV*

I ran into the house, upstairs to the guest bedroom.

"Caesar!" I exclaim, slamming open the door

"Damn nigga what's up?" Caesar slowly wakes up from half sleeping, being on full alert

"They're coming! We got to start packing and get the hell up out of here!"

Caesar quickly gets up, grabbing all the luggage from underneath the bed. We both began packing all our materials and clothes into the luggage fast as we could. Both of us were prepared for this day.

"How you know they're actually coming?" Caesar asks as he latches his luggage, carrying them

"That Noah Thorn guy came back and told me it is for real this time. We don't have much time to get out of here."

"Right. You got to call Uncle Ruckus too!"

"I'm getting him on the line right now." I say as I had the home phone in my hand, calling up Uncle Ruckus

"Who is this I'm speaking to?" Uncle Ruckus answered

"It's me Uncle Ruckus, Huey."

"What is it negro?"

"It's time. Meet us up at the block as soon as possible. No bullshit, we don't have time."

"Negro I've been waiting for this day ever since that nigga Obama became president! I'll be there soon as I can you nappy headed fool."

I slowly rolled my eyes saying, "Thanks."

I hang up the phone, walking out the guest room with Caesar.

"Don't make a sound." I whispered to Caesar, walking downstairs to the front door with him

Caesar made sure there was nothing in sight. I did not want Riley nor Granddad knowing what was going on. I unlocked the door, running out with him.

We began walking down to the block with our luggage and backpacks. In the corner of my eye, I see Jazmine. I slowly raise my eyebrow, wondering what she wanted. I did not have the time to talk. Caesar and I rested our stuff on the sidewalk. Jazmine walks towards me, tapping me on my shoulder.

"Huey? Where are you going?" She asks as she notices my luggage

"Don't worry about it Jazmine." I look over at her, barely could even look at her

My eyelids were weighing heavily, and I felt so frustrated, but calm at the same time. I couldn't get stopped now.

"What you mean? I should worry! Huey tell me please! I have the right to know." Her facial expressions softens as her eyes got a glossy look and her lips formed into a tiny frown

"Jazmine please don't make this harder than it has to be. Please go back home." I say seeing a truck coming towards the block Caesar and I were at

Caesar was sitting on the sidewalk, minding his business.

"I don't want you to leave Huey! If you do leave please come back! I don't know what I would do without you!" She bursts into tears, going into a crying mess

"Don't cry Jazmine. I'm not going to make no promises. Take care." I say, taking a good look at her.

I grab my luggage, watching Caesar get up. We walk towards the truck, getting in.

"Ya'll niggas ready?" Uncle Ruckus asks

I look back in the mirror, seeing Jazmine still standing there. She slowly waved. He drove off as I watched her until I could not see her anymore.

"Yeah." Caesar says.

"You do know where we going, right Uncle Ruckus?"

"Yes nigga I know. Just let me drive dammit."

*MINUTES LATER*

As Uncle Ruckus drove, one of the tires were beginning to get flat.

"Oh hell no-" Caesar says as he looks out the window

"Uncle Ruckus I think you need to check your tires."

"We're not gonna get out of here in time Huey." Caesar tells me with worrisome in his voice

I knew he was right. I was growing impatient.

"We don't have time for this." I say, quickly getting out with Caesar

"Where ya'll Negros going?" Uncle Ruckus asks as he looks at the flat tire

Caesar and I run off to the nearest train station. I bought both of us a train ticket using Granddad's credit card.

"Hurry, hurry." Caesar rushes me, we both hop on the train, finding a seat

*THIRD PERSON'S POV*

Jazmine looked out in the distance. Tears were streaming down her face. All she could think and worry about was Huey. She slowly crossed her arms, hoping wherever he was going wasn't going to take too long. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Jazmine walked over to the oak tree, sitting underneath it.

Riley comes home from playing basketball from a few friends. He looks over seeing Jazmine underneath the oak tree with a baffled expression taken over his face. He walks towards her, kneeling down beside her.

"Why you sitting here by yourself? Where is Huey?" Riley makes a face

Jazmine takes a look at Riley, bursting into tears. She covers her face as her hands began to tremble. She slowly shook her head.

"Jazmine..where is Huey?" Riley asks again, looking more concerned

"Huey is gone Riley. He left.." Jazmine says as she wipes her tears away, trying to keep her composure

"What you mean he gone? You mean he gone to the store or something?" Riley questions her

"No! He's actually gone. Him and this boy had backpacks and luggage. They got in this truck and left with no questions asked. I tried asking Huey where he was going, but he would not tell me." She tried holding back her tears, silently sighing

Riley begins thinking. He slowly shift his eyes saying, "You have a idea where he's going?"

Jazmine slowly shakes her head. She slowly gets up, walking off to her home. Riley watched her as she walked off. He felt bad for her, but there was nothing he could do. He runs into the house yelling Granddad's name.

"GRANDDAD!" Riley yelled, running up and downstairs trying to find him

"What is it boy?" Granddad asks as he walks down the hallway, seeing Riley out of breath

"Huey ran away from home!" Riley exclaimed, frowning

"Huey ain't gone no damn where." He sucks in his teeth

"Check his room! All his stuff is gone. So as Caesar's."

Granddad tried his best to keep calm, but it didn't do no good. He ran up to Huey's room, seeing everything gone in his room. His eyes widened. He ran back downstairs.

"We got to call the police! The only thing is that they'll probably tell us we have to wait 24 hours-" Granddad says before being interrupted

"He might come back later on or something. Huey isn't that dumb to be running place to place anyways. " Riley reassures Granddad

"I guess you're right. Lets watch TV." Granddad walks in the living room as him and Riley watch The Real Housewives of Compton
