Before any of you can go and pinpoint the wrongs and what are the rights here at my story, don't bother.

This story is an AU. Somewhat like Romeo and Juliet thing. And I also created some stuff that I know are not true, so please don't judge.

In my story...

Masky and Hoodie are both 23 (present time) and Toby to be 19. And Toby is an innocent cinnamon bun who is seriously naive to his own actions.

And also, this will only contain at least 5 chapters. Since this is my first time making one, I decided to turn it into a short story. Hope you like it!

So like, the story Jane used to tell Sally was about 5 years ago meaning Masky and Hoodie where 18 at that time and are already Slenderman's proxies (I know, I know it's cliche and boring but hear me out) since I have read fanfics where Masky is kinda mean and harsh (but still loves the cute ticci cinnamon bun) and Jeff is kinda mean too but has a soft spot for the elf so I wanted to make a story of my own on what was the reason why Masky was all mean and like a grouch to Toby.

Also, I might not add here Toby's tics or like you guys can imagine it, I just won't write it as it really pains me to write a story where he'd suffer so much again.
