Chapter 2- Everyone wants to win.

Maddie's POV
As we walked the corridors there was actually a list up which I stopped to read stating every dancers age and studio. There were so many dancers in ages 9-15 who all went to a variety of studios.

My biggest enemies are probably Gino and Jordyn. To be honest everyone hates them... They go to candy apples and they are so rude and snobby. They copy routines and even sabotage other dancers.
But I am pretty great friends with all the other girls from comps and conventions. I'm not that close with Nia and Mckaylee because I have never really met them..
So I walked and the stage and spotted Kalani and Kendal so I ran over and we talked and stretched .
Looking around we kind of checked out our competition a little. We spotted Asia and my sister obviously, Mckaylee and Nia were there, Brooke and Paige, Jojo, Autumn and Lucas were there too.
So 12 of us and we were missing: Jordyn, Gino, Mckenzie and Gavin , Addison, Autumn, Zack and Chloe.
We then got up and started practicing some tricks and more dancers had started arriving it was 8:58am and 9:00am was today's starting time. We all got ready as the last few dancers Chloe, Zack and Addison joined us.
Just as on queue the one and only Abby Lee miller walked through the door holding ALDC MEMBER JACKETS with rhinestones but no names.....
Everyone cheered as she walked in and gave a little speech:
"Hello ! My name is Abby Lee Miller and I am the owner of the world renowned dance company "ABBY LEE DANCE COMPANY" . As most of you know this is a private and audition only company for the top elite dancers. Now this competition is your chance to get to the top and not only win an ultimate invitation to ALDC, over $50,000 in cash and prizes but also scholarships to the top dance intensives at Joffrey ballet school , broadway dance centre and much more!! "
Everyone including me cheered. Now I just wanted to win even more.
"So here is how this competition will run. Every week there will be a group challenge and a reward for the winner. Most importantly a new skill and theme will be featured I each challenge and the same theme and skill will be featured at that weeks competition. The competition will see one dancer eliminated after the performances each week!" She continued.
"So let's get started with this weeks challenge the skill....
