You lie there as you hear the sounds of screams and shattering glass. You smash your hands or your ears,but the sounds and visions are drilled into your Brian and there's no way you can escape it.
That's when you hear a loud bang on your front door and it creeks open and nattering voices. That's when you hear someone walking up the stairs,directly to your bedroom. You conceal yourself in the covers,wiping the tears from your eyes as a face peeks round the slightly opened door. That face belonged to your best friend Dylan. Seeing his sent you great relief.
"Thank God it's just you," You sigh,crawling up and rearing against the headboard as he joins you,wrapping his closest arm around your shoulder as you curl into each-other,so close that you can hear his heartbeat. Pumping in a rhythmic pattern. He suddenly presses kisses to your hair,everyone of them making you shiver.
"Can you stay here with me?" You whisper.
"Always," he responds,squeezing your hand tightly.
