Prologue

- Firstly, I would like to say welcome to my second story on this domain. This one is fresh and hasn't been storing in my head since 2010! The other story has been in the works since then and I just needed to write something different just to clear my mind. Do bare with me and let me know if there is anything that I need to correct gramma or otherwise. I may not get all facts right but just go with it xD 🤣 thanks everyone and enjoy!- 🐺

The moon shone through the trees. A breeze was making the leaves rustle. The faintly sound of a heart beat in the distance quickened. Footsteps thump against the ground.

My own were not heard as I needed my prey. Saliva dripping from my fangs. My eyes glowing their bright purple. I heard my prey trip over a root and fall down.

I stopped just short of a clearing. My prey had collapsed in the middle and was trying to get to its feet. I hovered in silence scanning the clearing before I kept out, snarling, greeted with a scream. My prey scurried further back into the clearing. The moonlight now highlighting it's figure. A young girl, with long flowing brown hair and chestnut eyes stared at me. Her breathe ragged and her heart practically leaping from her chest. She lifted her hand up as if to say 'don't come any closer' as if she knew me her eyes softened in a pleading way.

"Cody.. please" The girl whimpered, tears streaming down her face. The clothes she wore were mud stained and her leggings ripped. Her hair was messy and sweat-greased. We must have been hunting for a while.

I could feel my lips curl into a sinister smirk. My fangs bared and dripping with anticipation and thirst. Her eyes widened and she began to scream. I lunged for a throat, the warm flow of liquid on my tounge sent pleasured shivers down my spine. Her scream echoed through the now still forest. The moon faded behind a cloud, swelling darkness consumed us untill there as nothing but darkeness.
