Normal Theme: (Midnight Thoughts - Set It Off)
Fight Theme: (Infinite (Genesis Remix)) (There are more, but he likes this one.)
Name: Mardos Dominus
Looks: (Up top.)
Alias: The Gambler
Catchphrase: Careful with those dice. They may be rigged.
Age: 267? (He spent what is assumed to be 250 years in a place where time didn't exist, so time in the only worlds he COULD access was either stopped or slowed to an insufferable crawl to people who would be aware of it.)
Weapons: Widgets (Crystalline weapons used by mirage keepers that take many different forms. Mostly knives), Tristan's Shotblade (A sword that doubles as a laser rifle. More on that later), Cards (Serafie taught him how to play poker. He found a way to fight with a full deck, and now carries a few extra decks just for the hell of it.), M.E.B. (See 'Energy Burst')
Notes
Twitchy: Always looking over his shoulder in fear of being followed. 'Better to be paranoid than dead.' As he says it.
Cold: Bearing an Ill-founded trust in humanity borne of the abuse, neglect and abandonment as a child. Ever since then, his soul has only moved for the thrill of challenge. Challenge not found easily.
Ill tempered: Upon encountering someone who has pissed him off, he's still angry, but he uses his usual logical personality keep from throwing the first punch, and waits for the opposition to make the first move, which brings us to our next note, but that comes after this. If you decide to pick a fight with him though, LEAVE HIS FAMILY MATTERS OUT OF IT. DON'T TORMENT HIM ABOUT HIS FORMER FAMILY. It will take the proper authorities YEARS to find all of your body, the last poor soul to torment his mind with this specific subject was dismembered SIX YEARS AGO, and they're still looking for the rest of his organs.
Calculative: He constantly sees his opposition as computer programs, and opponents in the opposition as codes that make the program work. These codes(enemies) have to work together to make the program(team) function, that's just how teams work in life. If he disrupts one code(Ex. throw one enemy into another), the other codes are also disrupted, and the program goes down. Letting the enemy have the first move is an easy way for Mardos to achieve victory in his battles.
Likes Isolation: You can oft find him wandering his threshold, referred to as 'The Castle of Hell': a kind of dungeon that makes you ask what's real or not. Parts of places from his memories, and some pieces made from his own creative mind are patched together like a very strange patchwork quilt, just not a quilt. It's like a very, very distorted, patched-together landscape, where pieces from one place are stitched to another.
Description:
A cool, cruel, calculating master of the battlefield, Mardos is capable of applying an abundance of damage to his enemies and striking a bargain with them in equal manner. The only beings he has ever shown kindness to are his mirages, and the rogue ones he chooses to assimilate. He suffers from severe trust issues, which stems from his abandonment as a child. He is scared of loving another human being, and given his past of people abandoning him, and people being taken away from him, this makes sense. The only exception would have to be Grymoire's champions. He does all he can do to protect what he has. Has an ill-founded distrust in Enna Kros, having learned she is his ancestor, Roksanne, made into a god by another god known as Alexander, and able to deliver the direst of news with a smile. Has an extremely close relationship with his mirages(Namely Tamamohimé and Serafie), which is proven by him saying 'They're like the family I always wished for'. Extremely hostile towards just about anybody who pisses him off. He's naturally reclusive, so what happens when he winds up back at the world that served as his origin point? (not Grymoire.)
