We were so much more than friends
And a little less than lovers,
We were just as enchanting
As oleanders, beautiful yet deadly,
You were all the bright colors together,
Painting rainbows upon my grey skies
And I was the soothing melody
To your sleepless nights, we were
A whimsical whisper, two galaxies
Combined together, there was so much
To us more than the worldly affairs,
We touched the heavens, despite being
The sinners of hell, oh there was so much
