Meeting The Girl

     The next day , after the school ringing, all pupils get back to their classes and start new, the teacher announces:" Alright, We'll be starting a new lesson today, but before we do, I'd like you to meet a new friend who'll be your classmate for the rest of the year, please meet with me "Mezu Menzoni""

A little 12-year-old girl enters the class slowly, she walks, keeping her eyes down without looking at the rest, and stands in front of them, she only says:"Hello" and none of the class greeted back at her.

The teacher, nervously, allows her to take a sit, she quickly goes and sits down, she takes her stuff out from her bag and never talks with anyone.

Both Samir and Salmani keep watching her, Salmani turns to Samir and says:"Her behaviour seems to be too weird, I'm sure she is sad"

Samir looks at him and says:"Don't tell me you're going to help her, please don't"

-"I'm sorry Tlili, it's just that I, can't let go of that!"

-"But Sal, you don't understand, she's an exception! She's our school headmaster's daughter and we shouldn't mess with her or we'll get into too much trouble!"

He puts his hand on his shoulder and says:"Sam, I don't really care whom daughter she is... She looks so sad and I can't even look at her in that situation, I've gotta help her no matter what, that's my mission, that's why I got born, to make others happy! I've sworn to myself that I won't keep anyone sad and I won't break this promise that I made..."

Samir looks away and says:"I can't argue with you a lot, and I don't want to do that but since you are stubborn enough and you do want it for real that bad then it can't be helped, man, you'll find me by your side anytime you need me!"

He smiles and says:"Thanks"
He looks back at her and says:"We will absolutely talk with her tomorrow and see what's the matter"

Samir sighs and says:"Agreed"

School finishes for the day and they go home, Salmani quickly goes to his father who's been reading the newspaper to get more advice from him and asks:"'Dad, how can someone help someone else who's in need?"

Karmani puts the newspaper down and says:"There are many tips to do then"

He raises his index finger, looking at him, and says:"First thing, you need to be his friend, you need to be nice with him and show him that you can be trustful"

He raises his middle finger too with it and says:"Secondly, after he knows you can be trustworthy, then you need to learn the truth from him and know what's making him sad and understand the situation well"

Keeping the two fingers up, he raises his ring finger and says:"And finally, you have to help solving it, if the problem is too hard to be dealing with so just make him look at the bright side and try to make him smile"

He gets back to reading and says:"That's all!"

The boy looks down and asks:"Dad, why do some people find helping others something strange? They never told me so but I feel like they do..."

The father looks at him and says:"Looks like someone is getting emotional"

He stands up, gets in front of him, stands on one knee and puts his hands on his shoulders looking at him:" Indeed... There's nothing wrong with helping others, you don't have to listen to what anyone says to you, people are different, there are good people and bad people as well, don't let them make you down, stand up and be strong"
He smiles at him and says:"Well son, when I was your age! I was helping others a lot, I was comforting my friends who got bad marks and motivated them to do better, I was doing volunteer works and I was giving my pocket money to poor people, even though some of my classmates were making fun of me, I did not stop and kept forward, even though I was alone and I got no one to help me, I continued on my way and at last, became happy myself, seeing others appreciating and giggling"

Salmani gets too excited, he has now another reason that makes him an important person.

He smiles and says:"I will absolutely take your steps and follow you, I'll be helping others and no one would stop that, I will be good just like you were with others"

The fathers pats his hair and says:"I'm proud of you son! One day, you'll realize how useful it is and you won't do it for long since you'll be taking care of your own family instead, in the future"
