Story 13: Amazing Spider-Man (Animated Series) "Venomous Union"

Peter was deep asleep, he was exhausted, not only was he, as spider-man. Now wanted, a bounty on his head, because J Jonah Jameson hated spidey so much, that without much evidence, labelled spider-man as the one who stole the promethium X. Which wasn't true! He saved the people from the rocket, one of which even being Jameson's son! Yet Jonah still blamed spidey for the promethium X's disapearance,

As peter was sleeping, the sludge that was on his costume started to shift, and it blended into the darkness, and began to move, it quickly oozed off of his costume, and made its way towards his bed, quickly reaching the foot of his bed, where it stopped, before quickly making its way up onto the bed, and towards the sleeping form of peter-

The darkness wrapped itself around peter, like a warm blanket, seeping into his very being, melting into his flesh, merging with his body as he slept-
Meanwhile, peter was in the middle of a dream brought on by the symbiote, he was running throughout an abandoned New York City, trying to escape... something- he didn't know what he was running from, but he knew he didn't want it to catch him...
He turned around to see what he was running from, it was a giant black silhouette, that seemed to almost be made of, slime or something along those lines, it's form was unstable, always changing, peter was paralysed, and the creature picked him up, and got ready to eat him whole, when a giant Spider-Man suit jumped from the other side of the city, peter Was put back on the floor, where he ran and hid, as he watched the insuring battle between the giant spider-man and the giant goop monster, he could tell that the red and blue thing wanted to protect him, so he hoped that it would win, but evidently. The black ooze creature was stronger-

It had quickly knocked spider-man back, causing him to fall in an electrical pole. Where he got electrocuted, and turned into a giant empty costume, peter hoped the creature didn't know where he was, but it did, it looked right at him, he tried to run and escape, but the creature had already picked him up before he could get far, it help him up to its face, and then, before it could do anything, the suit of Spider-Man git back up and also grabbed peter, it tried to pull him out of the creatures grasp, but he wasn't as strong as the creature, the creature quickly pushed the suit away, and its head tore open, revealing a goopy maw. Peter tried to get out of its grasp, but it had too tight of a hold on him, it quickly pulled him up to its new mouth, and ate him, and peter was trapped in darkness.

When he woke up, he thought to himself "phew, what a nightmare, for a moment I thought I was- going out of my mind?" Before he realised he wasn't in his room, was he still dreaming? If so, The city around him looked and felt very real, he saw his reflection, and was reasonably confused and worried, was that really him? He looked down at himself, and saw that, yes, it did indeed seem to be him, he was in a strange black suit. With a white spider symbol emblazoned across his chest, it's legs seemed to connect to the legs of an identical spider symbol on his back, he also seemed to have bigger muscles, his mask was where the most changes where, the eyes where like jagged versions of his regular Spider-Man mask, and seemed to react like proper eyes, and the mask even had a mouth! A literal maw, filled with razor sharp teeth! And it even moved like an actual mouth, and when he opened it, out slithered a snake like tongue, "what happened to us?"
