Chapter 3 : The Strongest Weapon

“I’m Jane” I say rolling my eyes. “Jane Summers”

“I’ m Louis” he says instantly. “Louis Tomlinson” We all laugh and the loneliness starts to disappear with the humour of Louis. With no idea or clue about where we are or where we are going, we stay in this unfamiliar place hoping for good to arrive.

The feeling of being somewhere not supposed to be and the idea that we could be dead in any minute is something that my mind is not ready to forget about. I can see the boys are trying to make me feel comfortable and forget about the evil that can happen anytime now. I take a deep breath and tell myself to be brave, and I know that how I cope with all the matters that I may have to face is what decides my life. And maybe the boys’ too. If what they, the creatures here, are planning on is killing the boys and making their identical ones more powerful, it’s up to me to save their lives. I better hide and stay not noticed from the evil here as I’m the only way of survival for the boys right now. I gotta save them from whatever is about to happen. And I know it’s not good.

Liam said that as my identical person is dead they can’t capture me in their cameras. But the boys have to be smart about it. They have to act like I’m not here. Well I have to remind Louis every second.

I can see Louis’ mouth is moving really fast but I’m not listening to him. I’m planning in my head about what to do and what I can do.

I start to doubt whether these are the real boys or the ones who are identical to them.

I can feel my heartbeat fastens as I get the nerve that they can be fake and all this is a trap. What if this really is a trap? I look at Harry’s curly hair and his unbelievable dimples which make me totally weak, Blonde hair of Niall with that cute lips which I can jump on him and kiss, Liam’s sweet face with that innocent smile showing the care for his loved ones, Zayn’s hot look and the sexy stare with his quiff starting to go down and then last and definitely the least Louis’ moving so fast mouth with his widely opened mouth which I wanna put a plaster and make it shut for a second.

They can’t be fake. But I still doubt. I stand on my feet and start to move backwards from them. I can see each of the boys staring at me with their jaws down.

“Jane?” Zayn asks taking a step closer to me.

“Don’t touch me” I yell.

“What’s wrong?” Liam asks looking at me with worrying looking eyes.

“Are you guys real? Are you the guys I loved for ages? Are you the real 1D or are you the ones here trying to kill the boys and get stronger?” I ask and tears start to fall from my eyes.

“Hey Jane trust us. We are the real One Direction. We’re not trapping you.” Liam says.

“How would I know?”

“You and I we don’t wanna be like them, we can make it till the end, nothing can come between you and I.”

Harry starts to sing and my heart stops. I look at him and start to move a step at time closer to him.

I can see the hope in their eyes and deep inside now I know they are the real boys.

“Hey guys look!” Louis yells. Well yelling in terms of his way of talking.

He walks towards the grey outline of a square in the floor. My curiosity of knowing what it can be is killing me inside but at the same time I fear what it can be.

Niall moves closer to Louis and now both of them are standing on the square. Niall is examining and investigating what it is but Louis is mostly playing on it.

I open my mouth to tell them to move out of it.

But BANG! Louis and Niall both fell down yelling. We move faster towards the square but magically it disappears.

“What the actual fuck?” Liam starts to shake his head and Harry runs his fingers in his hair. Zayn comes closer to me and put his arm around my waist as he notices that I’m about to pass out. I try not to be weak and focus on what to do next but I’m still in the shock.

“What are we going to do?” Liam asks weakly without looking at any of us.

I can’t believe what just happened. If this is a dream I wanna wake up right now. How are we going to find them?

“Guys I think we should go and find them” I suggest but they all look so weak and hopeless.

“Guys this is not a fucking time to be hopeless. Hope is the confident is desire. Hope can be powerful than fate guys. Keep your hopes. We are gonna find them. We’re gonna save them. If we spend a second here just thinking and being shocked we could be too late. That second we waste can be the only time, the only chance we have to save their lives boys. Their lives.” I feel like I’m the leader and some part of me is making me feel like I’m a nursery teacher. “We aren’t alone. Group work is all we want. Let’s be powerful and strong and save them”

They look at me with silence and finally decide to go and look for the boys.

“Jane Listen, they have kind of weapons that we have never seen in our entire lives. They will shoot us and kill us with no hesitation. They are armed and they are stronger more capable than us. We can’t fight them Jane. They will kill us all. They will kill us easily. We don’t have any weapons.” Liam says being more and more despairing.

“Yes we do. Of course we do. We have weapons that they have never seen.” I say.

“Oh yeah like a knife, or maybe strong arms, anything around that we can get and hit?” Zayn asks like I said the stupidest thing ever.

“No guys. The strongest weapon is not a sharp sword, it’s not a magical gun, it’s not a mysterious pistil or a firearm. It’s the love. The friendship. They are million times stronger than any other weapon in the whole universe. Think how much you love them. Think what a friendship you have with them. Whenever we get caught by those evils, always think that they are gonna hurt Louis and Niall. We all know that. Get the love and the friendship to your strength and use it against them. You will see how powerful you can be for your friends. You will see how much you can change your personality to an exact different person just from the love you have to them.” I say and they listen to me really carefully. “They don’t have it with them. They will use the weapon that they hold in hands and we will use the weapon that we hold in our hearts. As Liam said we have never seen their weapons but we will see them. However they or us or anyone can’t see the love or friendship, so we are using invisible weapons, they will never see it.”
