the bus sped off. " w-wait!" I coughed from the exaust and sighed exaustedly. Looks like im walking to school. I started walking down the sidewalk to my high school, Nightwood High. As i walked by the woods, i couldve sworn i was being watched by someone or something. I just shrugged it off, thinking i was just paranoid, and kept walking. Finally, Nightwood high came into view. it was a modern building with ever changing messages on the screens by the doors. The screens flashed 8:05... I was five minutes late. I opened the door and walked into the office to ask for a tardy slip. The secretary at the desk looked up at me. "Sabrina? do you need another tardy slip?" I blushed darkly as I nodded my head embarrassedly. "y-yes please." she quickly wrote me a slip and placed it in my hands. " here, sweetie. Good luck." I smiled softly, even though "sweetie" wanted to smack her and thanked her as i rushed off to first period. i ran upstairs and down the hall to room 201, creative writing. I knew the door was locked, so I knocked firmly on the dark wood. The annoyed teachet opened the door and looked steamed enough to fry an egg on his face. " Glad you could join ud, ms. Macintosh. Take your seat." I handed him the slip and walked in as the "popular kids" laughed at me. I sat down ar my desk and pulled iut ny black notebook out of my bookbag. I sat it next to my desk as I turned to a fresh page and looked at the board for my assignment. write an adaption of your favorite fairytale. I smiled at the board as i picked up my pencil and began writing. In no time, my gothic verdion of Hansel and Gretel was finished. In this version, Handel ang Gretel were young adults being given to a vampiress as a  sacrifice. They defeat the vampiress by splashing her with holy water, and while she's blinded, they shove her into a burning oven.Then, they go home and murder their parents in their sleep. Not my favorite dairytale, but it works.
