[Momo's POV]

"Brrrr.... brrrr" my car hums as it slowly dies on me. I hit the wheel in frustration.

"No! Seriously?! I'm in the worst area to have a broken down car!" I say, with a mixed emotion of anger and fear.

You're probably wondering why I'm in the worst area to have a broken down car and what my name is....

My name is Hirai Momo. I'm a Japanese girl who recently moved to Seoul for a more exciting life. This particular area is in a more secluded place where not a lot of people roam. I was driving to look at apartments since hotels and roommates don't work for me anymore. After all, I have been living here for at least four months now to know that I want to stay here.

At least my car had the courtesy to allow me to pull over to the side of the road before it died. I know that money is tight right now, but this car is the second most expensive thing that I pay for. I get out of it and leave the car. I wouldn't need it since I can just Uber to places. It'll be cheaper anyways.

There was only a couple of cars in the parking lot of which I assumed were employees' cars. I find my way inside of the gas station nearby to buy some food. If I was going to figure out a plan, I couldn't do it on an empty stomach. As I walk inside, I can immediately feel someone's gaze upon me. I'm a brave person, so it doesn't bother me but you can't ever be too careful.

The store had lots of options so I chose to get jokkbal and water. I walked up to the checkout line and the lady asked for the money. I reach into my back pocket only to realize that I left my wallet inside of my car.

"Shoot. My wallet is in my car," I explain to the lady.

She shakes her head at me and huffs in annoyance.

"I can pay for her food," a low, woman's voice behind me says. I can tell that the person was so close to me, that they were practically talking in my ear, their breath trickling my neck. It sent shivers down my spine but I kept my cool.

The checkout lady nods and takes the woman's money. I turn to the owner of the voice after grabbing my stuff.

"Thank you, I really appreciate this"  I say, and then I take a good look at this woman.

She was taller than me by a couple inches and her hair was short and brown. Half of her face was covered by a mask and that was a normal thing here in Seoul, but only in public places. The woman and I were the only ones in the store, besides the employees at the moment so I didn't know who she could be keeping her identity from.

By her eyes, I could tell that she was giving me a small smile.

"It's no problem. After all, I feel bad for what I did to your car,"  she says.

It takes me a couple seconds to process what she said and before I could show any sign of discomfort, I smiled and left the store as quickly as I could.

I could tell that she was watching me again and I heard footsteps behind me.

"Shit shit shit,"  I whisper under my breath. I didn't know where I was walking to but I regretted leaving that gas station. There were people there and now I was walking down the road, and I didn't know where I was going. My stomach was growling and I didn't have the energy to run so I started eating the jokkbal.

Her footsteps were getting faster and faster behind me onto the road. I turn around to see if I'm being paranoid and I'm terrified. She was holding something but quickly put her hands behind her back. Her mask was still covering her face and she was pretending like she wasn't following me.

I chug the entire bottle of water and throw my trash onto the road. I hated littering but for hecks sake, I'm being stalked!

I gain the courage to confront her from a distance.

"Why are you following me?"  I ask her.

She looks at me for a minute. She was scanning me somehow, searching for something.

She sighed and started walking towards me. I started backing away and she stopped in her tracks.

"I'm sorry, its just that I love your hair color. I just want a closer look. I've always wanted to go blonde," she says and smiles through her mask.

"Ohh, okay!"  I say and chuckle. "You didn't have to follow me all of the way over here-"  I said but she stopped me before I could finish by running to me and pulling me into a tight grip.

"Hey! Let me go! I freaking knew something was off!"  I yell.

"Help! Help me! Someone please!"  I scream and attempt to kick her in the lady bits but she squeezed my wrist so hard that I thought it would snap. Tears spilled out of my eyes and I felt myself getting bruised.

"Please, stop! You're hurting me!"  I say.

"Stop resisting and this can be easier for the both of us," she says in a cold voice. It was like she was angry at me for something that I didn't do.

She covered my mouth with a cloth and just like the movies, I knew it wasn't going to be good. I hold my breath for as long as I could, attempting to headbutt her backwards but she grabbed my throat. I couldn't breathe and my eyes were rolling to the back of my head. The air got thinner and I was seeing stars.

Could this be it? Was I being murdered?

"Shit. Now look what you made me do. You have bruises everywhere and I will punish you for this," she says, angrily.

My knees gave out and the only thing keeping my face from hitting the ground is the hold she has on my neck.

I would do anything to not breathe in the chemical on the cloth. Even get strangled.

"Just breathe it in, baby. It will make all of this so much easier, please," she says in a comforting tone. She was trying to make me feel safe in a way, yet she was cutting off my air supply.

My throat got sore and I was crying a waterfall at this point until my body has enough. Everything went completely black.
