It was spring when the day of the wedding came. Melody's parents were downstairs while waiting for her. They were so excited to see their youngest daughter getting married, although they hope that disaster doesn't get in the way since they remembered some problems that they had on their wedding day.

"I'm sure that nothing bad will happen at our daughter's wedding. I mean, how bad can it be?" Said Alfred.

Suddenly, they heard a loud thud from the stairs. When they got there, they found Melody on the ground trying to get up.

"I can't get up, my ankle hurts." Said Melody.

When her father checked her feet, her right ankle was already swelling and looking painful.

"Your ankle does not look good, it's twisted."

"Maybe we should postpone the wedding." Said Victoria.

"No way. I can do this." Said Melody.

"You shouldn't do this to yourself, darling. You don't wanna give yourself more pain."

"Look, Mother. I'm not gonna let this twisted ankle cancel the wedding, I'm gonna marry David, no matter what. When Daddy told me the story about your wedding, he told me that even though he twisted his ankle, he didn't want the wedding to be canceled for you."

So touched by her little speech, they decided not to cancel the wedding and must get her to the chapel on time. So her father gave her a helping hand while walking to the limo. During the drive to Wayfarers Chapel, Melody felt more nervous than the first night she went on stage with the band which surprised her. Since she's never been married of course, it's the first time she felt this way.

"To be honest, I'm very nervous right now."

"That's normal, darling. Anyone can feel nervous when they are about to be married for the first time." Said Victoria.

"I can give you some advice about marriage. It can be rough at times, there's gonna be some disagreements. But what matters is being with the person that you love the most." Said Alfred.

"Thanks, Daddy. I'll take that advice to heart."

They finally made it to the chapel, it was a beautiful sunny day for a wedding day at Wayfarers Chapel. Melody was ready to do this, despite her twisted ankle. Melody was in a little room while waiting for the wedding to start. When the priest was checking on her before the ceremony, he had someone go get the medical kit and an Ace bandage to wrap her ankle before she walks down the aisle. After getting her ankle wrapped up, the ceremony was ready. Melody and her father got into position for the bridal march.

"Are you ready for this, Melody?" Asked Alfred.

"Yes, I am ready to do this." Melody replied.
