"Where the hell is that little brat?" Kido pushed through the crowd of screaming girls in the hallways that were calling out Kano's name, which probably means he's here in this mess somewhere.
Scratch that, he created this mess. Annoyed, Kido roughly barged through a group of...well...fangirls, but the wall was as unbreakable as Wall Maria.
Well, Kido would just have to be the Armored Titan and run through, which then sent the girls flying like bowling pins.
"Strike," she muttered under her breath, but she knew there was no time for witty remarks that most of the people wouldn't even hear. She weaved through the crowds of girls and tried to look for an annoying little shit.
After what it seemed like years of scavenging through a human trash bin, Kido found the trashiest of them all. Kano was in the midst of all these girls, chatting with them like he wasn't fazed by the bloodthirsty crowd surrounding him. His smile grew wider when he saw Kido walking toward him, but the smile slowly faded into a sheepish grin when he saw the murderous look on her face.
"Come with me," she yanked him out of the crowd by his arm, almost dislocating it in the process. "We need to talk about something."
The fangirls were starting to protest, but immediately silenced themselves when Kido looked their way.
"Well let go of my arm first," Kano tried jerking his arm out of Kido's grip, but it was like an iron trap. He felt one of his veins pop because of the sheer force of Kido's grip.
"You're going to kill me at this rate!" Kano protested. "Veins are important for the human body!"
"No," Kido corrected him. "Arteries are the important ones, and everything is good unless I break your wrist."
Kido's science facts shut Kano up until they reached their destination. An empty classroom, far from where all the crazy girls were.
"So why did you bring me here?" Kano rubbed his bright red wrist.
"We need to talk about your little harem issue," Kido plopped down in a chair, tired from bulldozing through what it seemed like a barricade.
"It's not a harem."
"You know what I mean."
"And besides," Kido stood back up from her chair to straighten her ruffled clothing. "Your get-togethers are disrupting classes and interrupting important school meetings."
"It's not my fault I'm so popular," just then, Kano has a wickedly genius idea to mentally torture Kido. "And you just don't want any other girl to be with me, dont you?"
"What?!" she was so absorbed in cleaning up her attire that she almost sent a pile of papers flying near where she was standing. "I'm not jealous!"
"Whoever said you were?" Kano's eyes had a mischievous glint to them. "I said you won't like the idea of another girl being my senpai. I didn't say anything about you being jealous."
"Same difference," her face was getting redder by the second. "And you should've said that before!"
Kano slowly made his way to where Kido was standing and, while being all up-close-and-personal, whispered, "Just kidding."
The sudden change of mood made Kido halt and replay the events that just happened. "Wait, what?"
"I'm just kidding!" Kano started laughing. He started laughing so much it felt like Kido punched him in the gut. "Wow you should have seen the look on your face!"
And that was when he actually felt the pain of being punched in the gut. He staggered backwards, half laughing because it was funny and half laughing because of the pain.
"How dare you," Kido was fuming. Her fists were trembling at her sides.
"Well, I'll always be your beloved kouhai," he took a crippled bow and managed to right himself.
"Yeah," Kido muttered. "More like annoying."
As she made her way out of the classroom, Kano saw a glimpse of her smile, but it might have been the tears that were fogging up his vision. Man, that was funny.
Kido, on the other hand, was not smiling. He tricked her! She knows that she should be used to it now, but he never did these types of things. Her mind flashed back to his face right up in hers. His fox-like eyes were shooting her down, only for him to say "just kidding."
"Just kidding my ass," she wanted to punch something. Actually, she wanted to punch a special someone, but there was also one thing that kept nagging her.
Beloved kouhai. Since when did he start to call himself that?
But, maybe she can get used to it.
{*Laughs because I haven't been on for like a month* Hello people, and sorry for quite a delay. I've missed out on a lot of fanfiction-writing opportunities, but do not fear, since I'll make it up with other fanfictions (that will probably also be late but oh well). I've also changed the POV from first-person to third-person, since I've found that most people think that first-person doesn't give character. Well, I guess that's it. Until next time, my fellow readers. Until next time.}
