Chapter 1

Emme's P.O.V

We had new people coming, and we heard them walk in. Brie and I started listening.

"Hi. We'd like two girls, ages between, 10-14." a man asked.

Great. A boy.

"We only have two girls who are 13." Ms. Loly said.

She came and got us.

We walked out and saw the one and only, O2L.

"We are adopting you girls!" Ricky said.

"Brie, we're gonna be sister's!" I yelled.

We hugged each other and went to pack.

Ricky and Kian came up.

"Which one is Emme?" Kian asked. I raised my hand.

"So you must be Brie." Ricky said.

Kian walked over to Brie. "You are now Brielle Lawley. Emme, your now Emmelyn Dillon."

Wow.... I finally have a last name. Emmelyn Elizabeth Dillon. This is so weird.

I tell people Brie is my sister. But she isn't, more like a really good bestie. My real sister, she ran away because of our abusive parents. That why I came to foster home.

My real sister, Libbey Rose ran away when she was 12. She should be 22 now. I miss her so much, she was all I had. Now I have Brie. Sometimes I feel guilty calling Brie my sister because of Libbey.

"Emme? Are you crying?" Ricky asked.

I wiped away the tears I didn't know we're falling.

"No." I said.

He pulled me away from Brie and Kian. He took me to the hall to talk to me.

"Emme, what's wrong?"

"I miss my sister."

"She is in the room. You are with her everyday."

"Brie isn't my real sister. We just say that. We are best friends. My older sister ran away ten years ago. She was 12. She should be 22 now, and I haven't seen or heard from her since. Her name was Libbey Rose."

Ricky, or dad, hugged me. It felt nice to have a dad again. But I don't fully trust these boys. My dad, he raped me everyday. I'm afraid of boys, physically and mentally. So when he hugged me, I flinched.

"Why did you flinch? Don't be afraid of me." Ricky said, trying to wipe away my tears. I backed up before he could touch me.

Brie is the only one who knows I'm afraid of boys. I ran to her. I ran in our room and hid behind her. Ricky was yelling, so that scared me. I kept flinching.

Brie's P.O.V

Did Em tell Ricky about the whole, rape-abuse thing that she went through?

Em is afraid of boys becasue of James, her old dad.

When her mum passed away, her dad got into drugs and alcohol. Abusing her, Libbey and her little sister, Aria. Libbey took Aria, and left Emme saying she will be back for her. Let's just say, she never showed.

My life, it wasn't that bad, so I feel guilty for my old life.

It was just that my parents died, and I'm an only child. Now, I have Emme. I couldn't be more happier. And I'm gonna meet my idols, youtubers.

Kian Lawley is my dad.

I'm now Brielle Nicole Lawley.

I'm gonna meet Jenn McAllister and Andrea Russett and Lauren Elizabeth and Arden Rose and Lia Marie Johnson!

I helped getting Em in the car.

Ricky came upstairs to talk to Em.

"So, Emma-"

"Did you just call me Emma?" Emme yelled.

My dad just called me the wrong name..

I started crying and ran out of the house. How could he, he's said my name 300 times!

"Emma wait!" He yelled, "Emma!"

Why is he calling me Emma? It's fricken Emme!
