A stolen soul but a golden heart

Friend and foe

My eyes opened slowly as I turned my head. I appeared to be in a dimly lit room my head hurt like I was hit by a rock. As I sat up from the bed I had been placed on, I looked around the room and noticed someone was looking at me in the corner. It appeared to be a little boy he looked to be about five or six but from the distance, it was hard to tell. The person noticed I was awake and looking at him. they then proceeded to smile and blatantly run out of the room.

Soon after a taller boy who looked my age walked in. He smirked and then loudly said that he would be the alpha of the pack one day so he had control over the people in this village. However, before he had the chance to run his mouth anymore a woman waked in and smacked him up the side of the head and told him to watch his manners in front of guests.

By this point I was so confused and just wanted to know where I was, who they are and when can I go home so I politely
Gave a small cough and they then both looked at me, I then got a bit nervous before asking where I was so it came out something like this " where place...where... me.." they both looked at me confused but the woman then realised what I was trying to say. She then explained that I was in a place called timbershire a place in the far north.

The lady stepped a little closer and I could now see her properly. She was a tall slender woman with dark skin and green eyes she wore a long leafy dress. Her eyes were kind so it was hard to be too afraid. She told me her name was Angelica but people just call her Aggie for short. I was unsure at first but I then told her my name was Luna. I then begin to feel a little bit less stressed. Aggie then told me the boys names. The tall one was Leo and the small one was Simon. I smiled at Leo, he blushed then turned his head towards the fireplace.

Aggie then gave me a serious look she said not to panic as everything would be explained I hesitantly gave a nod but Aggie told me something that made me silent. "Luna you are in the kingdom of the shapeshifters." My heart dropped and a minute had passed. I then asked why I was in a different kingdom after being kidnapped by some strange people wearing wolf masks but she gave an emphatic look. Her eyes were so scared and sad I knew it would be hard to tell me but she did nonetheless.

She said to me in a small but gentle voice that they were friends of my father and the reason I was here was that he had sadly passed away. She said that he had asked them to protect me if anything were to happen to him. With tears in my eyes, I managed to muster up the words "how did it happen" Aggie then explained that on the supply run he was murdered by a man wearing a white cape and he left a note in the body of my father. The note was inscribed on the sword used to kill him.

I hated myself for asking this but I did anyway I asked what the note said. Aggie was shocked but was understanding of my reasoning. The note had read: " you thought you could be happy in this world child but this world is cruel and you shall never see peace in existence. Ever wonder why he kept you locked up? ever wonder why you never got hurt or ill? well, my dear, that's because I have your soul and now your fake fathers. By the way, when you turn 18 you will stop Ageing altogether. So my dear comes find me.
