11 - snacks (or snacc)

For the rest of the game, Hyun Jae sat there quietly, not quite sure of how she felt about that kiss. She would look up from her lap every few minutes and always caught a glimpse of Chan. He was staring at her every time, either biting his lip or smirking slightly. Jeongin got bored of the game and went to the toilet, while the others were getting ready to leave. It was already 8pm and Chan's parents usually came home around that time so the boys all ran out after getting their stuff and hugging Felix, Chan and Hyun Jae good bye. 

"Do you still want to come over for a sleep over then or?" Hyun Jae asked.

"Yeah, I can come. How about you, Lix?" Chan asked and turned to his brother.

"Damn, I can't, Mrs Han set us homework for tomorrow so I have to do that. You go though, don't worry about me." Felix smiled and Chan's eyes lit up. "Don't have too much fun without me!"

"We won't!" they both smiled back at him and ran up into Chan's room. He got his school bag and books along with a change of clothes. They ran back downstairs again and went into Hyun Jae's house.

"Ma?" she yelled as they entered the house. "Are you guys home?" she asked but there was no response.

"Wait, haven't our parents gone on that trip thing?" he asked, "The boys could have stayed."

"That's ok, I have you so there's no way I'll be bored, Chris!" Hyun Jae smiled and dragged him upstairs into her room. "We'll call Felix over, eat some food then go to sleep." she told him and he nodded. He took his phone out and called Felix.

"Bro? What is it?"

"Eomma, Appa, aunty and uncle have gone on that trip thing. They told us about it last week so you should come over."

"Ah, it's ok, Jisung and Changbin Hyung stayed with me anyway so you two have fun. We need to finish the same homework anyway and it might take a few hours." Felix sighed.

"Oh, ok. See you tomorrow then." 

"Bye."

"Bye."

Chan hung up the phone and stuffed it back into his jeans pocket. "He can't come. Jisung and Changbin stayed with him anyway so it's ok, he's not alone." Chan explained and she nodded her head. 

"Let's eat something then." she smiled and jumped up. "Wait, let me take my shirt off." she said and pulled Chan's hoodie off and her shirt, slipping the hoodie back on,  realising Chan was watching her the whole time. He smiled sweetly at her and picked her up, running into the kitchen and putting her on the counter.

"Welcome to Chan's kitchen!" he smiled and looked in the fridge. "Today, we will be making... uh... hot chocolate!" 

"Oh, shoot, after school tomorrow I need to go shopping. Come with me~" she whined and he nodded, chuckling at her cuteness.

"My beautiful assistant, Jae, will help me make this beverage." he said and passed her the chocolate and cocoa powder. He turned on the stove and boiled the milk, making his hot chocolate. Hyun Jae remember that she had strawberries in the fridge and jumped off the counter, taking them out of the fridge. 

"Chocolate covered strawberries?" she asked and he nodded eagerly. She took out another pan and melted more chocolate and started dipping the strawberries in and putting them on a plate to set.
