Echo started a new life in Inkopolis, and was now known as Cloudi. Her skill and strategy remained the same, as she thought nobody would call her out for that. "It'll be tough without a team..." she mumbled looking around, nervously. "Hey!" A voice called to her. She turned around to see three inklings running up. "Hey, so, I'm Vera, this is Fero and Jolt." She gestured to a female octoling and a male inkling. "Hey, I'm Cloudi," she replied with a smile. "I need a team, I was hoping you could join? We saw you walking around alone," Vera said, glancing at Cloudi. Cloudi had no reason to say no, so she agreed. "All righty then!" Jolt said with a smile. "Ready to start, Cloud?" "Sure," she replied. "What mode?" "Here in Inkopolis Plaza, the Turf War rotations are Mahi-Mahi Resort and Moray Towers, while the ranked is Tower Control in Walleye Warehouse and Flounder Heights." Fero stated. "What are your ranks?" Cloudi asked the team. Vera jumped in, "I'm A-, Fero is A+, and Jolt is B+!" Vera nearly laughed after stating Jolt, who started getting triggered. "I'm S+," Cloudi said in a slightly hushed tone. The three stared at her in amazement. "Well," Vera started. "Let's do Turf War first!"

"What's the team name?" Cloudi asked while they were in the lobby, waiting. Vera smiled and replied, "We're Team Freefly!" Then, another team entered the lobby. Vera and Fero frowned, while Jolt banged his head repetitively against a nearby wall. "Team Destroyer..." Fero mumbled. "A bunch of no-good inklings..." Cloudi decided to ask after the battle, but then one member of the opposing team snickered at Team Freefly. "Well, well. If it isn't team free-win-against. I see we have a new loser to face off of!" All four members howled with laughter. Vera interrupted them, "This is Cloudi, who is ranked S+, and she's better than all of you! We'll win this time!!!" They remained yelling at each other until they were transported to their spawnpoints. Cloudi was using her trusted Octo-Shot Replica, and the battle started. Team Freefly split up, which was how she played normally. She paused for a half-second, thinking of her agent team: Team Echofrost, then started to ink it up again. She and Fero took the sides, while Jolt and Vera took the middle. The battle was in Moray towers, and they went down like it was stairs, inking their respective areas. Team Destroyer was in the middle, squid-partying. I'll splat them now. Cloudi thought, and rushed in. "No!" Vera yelled, catching the other team's attention. "You'll-" she paused, while Cloudi had already splatted the whole other team. "H-How..?" Vera asked. Cloudi only looked back up. "They let their guard down." Before Vera could ask anymore questions, Cloudi went ahead, inking them more turf. 

The winner is... Team Freefly!

Team Destroyer were in disbelief, but mostly that Cloudi could splat all of them in one go. They left in shame while Jolt smirked at them and stuck out his tongue. Jolt was then pulled by the ear. "Jolt," Fero said warningly. "N-O." They continued to argue slightly, when Vera stared at Cloudi, who didn't seem to notice. W-who exactly is she?  Vera thought, then pushed it to the back of her mind. They had a whole day in front of them, and beyond that, time as a team. I have plenty of time to find out... But right now?
