TCA- Ch 9

Chapter 9( Canika's Pov ) :

Beep Beep Beep Bee-

I pressed the snooze button for the fifth time this morning. I wish it I could adjust the snooze to remind me every thirty minutes.

I opened my eyes slowly while yawning. Once my eyes were fully opened I slowly started to pull the deuvay down slowly given my skin to adjust to the temperature of my room with each pull.

I was fully exposed to the cold air of my room at last, lying on my bed in a large t- shirt with a pair of short shorts underneath. I rolled my head over to my bedside to check the time on my alarm clock. It read 7:15 which gives me enough time to get ready, have breakfast and get to school. Great . I sat up my feet not reaching the ground because of my short 4 ft 7 height.

I lowered myself to the ground until my feet was flat against my fluffy rug. I wriggled my yellow painted toes. I sigh at the softness of my blood red carpet.

I started to walk to my wardrobe to wake up Alexis in my common room, but I didn't even move to feet when I tripped over an object and fell flat on my face.

"OUCH" I yell as my wrist landed in an awkward position, I hiss out in pain and couldn't help the tears strolling down.

As I whimpered I heard a groan and then felt the object jerk up for me to see through my blurry eyes it was Alexis. I saw his eyes grow wide as he saw my wrist.

He immediately got up, and picked me carrying downstairs while I whimpered. I don't know know how but he managed to get the door opened in one swift movement and continue to carry me to the car but that's all I remembered.

I woke up to someone tapping gently I opened my eyes to see Alexis looking concerned. Then the pain hit me.

'Ahh it's so sore' tears ready to fall. I saw Alexis looking at me guilty. He better be sorry.

'The doctor said you can go now the cast will be of for six weeks and they advice you to keep the sling on for three weeks' he said softly waiting do me to comprehend the piece of information but I could not care less about that. What I wanted to know was why he was at the foot of the bed when I had told him to sleep in the common room.

'What the heck were you thinking. You are meant to protect me not hurt me' I scream at him. He looked shocked nut quickly recovers.

' I am sorry I did not know that would happen' he said quietly. He looked so guilty and cute and I just couldn't stay too mad.

' Hmph you owe me a starbucks coffee and ice cream before we get to school' I say before getting out the bed then screaming.

Alexis runs up to me looking alarmed. When he notices there is no immediate danger he looks at me confused.

'You brought me here like this' I say in a high pitch voice of disbelief. I look at him and see he is wearing nothing to cover is chest but thank goodness he was wearing pyjamas bottom and slipper and not boxers.

I blush when I noticed I had been staring to long. He smirks showing that he had caught me but o don't give him the satisfaction of blushing more.

' What did you expect me to do change you' he said while his smirk grew. Urghh he is so annoying sometimes. I just shake my head excited for the coffee. You may wonder why well the answer is it is banned, from me anyway.

As I think why it is banned I feel like I am bring lifted up. I see Alexis carrying me.

' Err what do you think you are doing I didn't brake my leg did I' I ask. He just shakes his head.

'No but you don't have shoes' he sad as a matter of fact. At that moment I feel a breeze pass my feet. Oh. Well this is a great way to start school.
