The night seemed to be much longer as Haseul and Jungeun walked together. They knew a bit more about each other for they couldn't stop talking. It was only after reaching Haseul's home that the two parted ways.
In the morning, Haseul was greeted by a sweet text from an unknown number.
Unknown: Hey! Good Morning. I'm Jungeun in case you forgot about me. Not exaggerating but last night was one of the best ones of my life. And also I would like to give you a treat for helping me with the guitar.
Unknown: So are you up for a coffee?! Maybe? Sometime?
Haseul: Hi Jungeun! Would it be awkward for me to say that I really enjoyed talking with you?! Anyways I will surely look forward to our coffee date.
Haseul: Wait... Is this a date?.. It isn't a date right? omg I'm so sorry.
Jungeun: It IS a date. I'd love to know more about you. ;)
Haseul: Oh! I guess then I'll see you again.
Jungeun: Sure!
Haseul was not completely sure what was going on in her mind. She was distracted during half of her classes. She didn't seem to focus on anything.
Surprisingly Jungeun was also an utter mess. She could easily be perceived as someone who is very good with holding her emotions in, but instead she was the kind to panic over very little things. Her best friend Jiwoo was trying her best to save her panicked friend's image infront of everyone in the school.
"Hey just relax. There's nothing to be scared about you know. There's a possibility that you could even end up like Sooyoung and me."
Sooyoung was Jiwoo's girlfriend. Although she was a bright and funny person, her gaze was always quite intimidating. Jiwoo fell for her the day she saw her in the hallway. Since then they have been inseparable.
"Oh please.. Sooyoung and you!! I would rather die single than be like you two cringey lovers."
Even though she was hella nervous, she didn't lose her sarcastic jokes which Jiwoo had already got used to.
"Hey what did you say about us!" Sooyoung said practically screaming.
"The truth. But I'm really scared guys. I just hope everything goes well."
Whereas Haseul was having a really hard time to tell Heejin and Hyunjin about Jungeun.
"So yesterday when I was at the Music Store, I met someone."
"Who? Omg. Is she pretty?" spoke Hyunjin.
"Her name is Jungeun and she's really beautiful. We walked together yesterday and today she asked me on a date."
"That's so.. Sweet" Heejin said.
"Wait.. But what about Vivi?!" asked Hyunjin.
There it was. The question she didn't want to face. Her secret. Vivi. She met her online and you could tell they clearly liked each other. It was only after the first time they kissed that Haseul felt she didn't really love her. Yes, She did like her but as a friend. She respects her a lot. She's been trying to find ways to tell her this. But every time she thinks of doing this her heart sinks to the pit of her stomach.
"I guess I will have to tell her before I even think about Jungeun."
"That would be the best. I'm sure she'll understand." Heejin told her.
The coffee date was scheduled tomorrow so Haseul had only one night to tell ViVi that she didn't feel the same way. She wanted to start fresh with Jungeun. She didn't want a bundle of lies to be the foundation of their relationship. She wanted it to be like the first spell of rain. Drenching her in feelings and leaving an unforgettable smell that she would cherish forever.
