Chapter 3

As I pulled up to my driveway, all the nervousness blew away. I know I can do this. I kept telling myself. I know I can.

I jumped out of my car and walked up to my front door to see it was locked. "Damn it!" I whispered to myself. I forgot my key in my room, and my moms at work. I guess I'll just wait! I checked my phone for the time and it was only 2:00, I have to wait here for 4 hours?! No.

I unlocked the code on my iPhone and called Jessica to come pick me up because I'm locked out of my house. After her hysterical laughter, she said she'd be here in 15 min. We hung up and I put my phone in my purse and waited.

After feeling like I waited for hours she finally pulled up in front of my house. I carefully got up and walked to her car and slid into the passenger seat.

"Hey baby momma!" She said in a teasing tone. I lifted my eyebrows and shook my head laughing.

"Where to?" I asked, wondering where we were going.

"Do you just want to go to my house?" She questioned.

"Yeah, sure!" I answered. After about 10 mins of driving, we made it to her house. I jumped out of her car and ran to her front door opening it and running up the stairs to her room. I laid on her bed, realizing how tired I really am, and closed my eyes, drifting to a world without problems and drama.

I opened my eyes to a pitch black room, and carefully sat up and stretched. I got up and tried finding the light switch. After finding it, I flicked it in and saw Jessica on the floor with a little bed she must have made by herself. I quickly turned the light switch off, not wanting to wake her up and went to the bathroom built into her bedroom.

I glanced at the mirror and looked away, but something was telling me to look at the mirror again. I looked at it and lifted up my shirt and stared at my tummy, knowing that there was something growing inside of me, part of me, part of Kyle. Just thinking that I have part of Kyle in me gave me butterflies and I don't know why.

After going to the bathroom and washing my hands I went back to Jessica's bedroom and searched for my purse. After finding it, I got my phone out to check the time. 10:00 p.m. Wow, I slept for 7 hours? I must have really been tired!

"Keel?" I heard Jess groggily whisper. "I called your mom to tell her you were staying over for the night, I didn't want to wake you because it looked like you have a really long day. She said to meet her at South Ridge at 10:15 tomorrow."

"Ok," after about 5 minutes of silence, I whispered, "Thank you, for everything Jess, your really are a great friend." After not hearing anything for a few mins, I started drifting back and forth from sleep, when I heard "No problem Keel, I'll always be there for you, no matter what. I promise." I smiled and went into a deep sleep thinking 'I really had the best friend ever'
