Mi-Yun POV

When I got home that night I was panting due to the fact I had run all the way back to my house. When I looked back at my clock it was only 5:14 in the morning so I took another shower to wash off all of the sweat and grime. When I was all clean and refreshed, I just sat on the couch thinking about whet happened. My brain didn't want to believe but my stood unwavering that this was reality, what was I going to do when I got to school?

??? POV

I ran a towel through my red hair and heaved a sigh. That girl, Mi-Yun, what is she? When I saw her my power symbol burned up. I was glad it was covered or else the whole class would have seen it. And when I connected eyes with her, it felt like the symbols would burn right through my skin and flop onto the floor. I looked at the clock, only 5:34. Might as well get some sleep in.

Mi-Yun POV

When I arrived at school I went to the teachers room to clear up when I fell asleep on the roof. "I have to talk to the guardians," Ms. Gan stated, "It's a school policy, I can't change it just because you don't want to get in trouble."

I mutely nodded solemnly before answering, "My parents are both overseas, would a phone call suffice? If not we can do a facechat." Ms. Gan looked miffed before agreeing to call my parents. I walked through the hallways to feel even more stares, is this a museum or something people? I just want to get to class on time not be stared at by you with your beady little eyes. I exchanged things at my locker and headed to class. I tried to drag my feet and take as much time as possible but here I sat in my desk. The guy next to me still hasn't arrived so I took the opportunity to ask someone nearby what his name was. I apparently asked the right person because I learned his name and much more.

"His name is Kai, he is part of the school gang named Exo. There are currently 11 members in this school but used to they have 12. Someone left due to his girlfriend dying or something..." She informed me. I nodded taking the information in, "My name is Jeong Mina, nice to meet you."

I gave her my greetings and offered a short goodbye before going back to my seat. Kai was here now and I put in my earphones to make sure he didn't talk to me. I think my plan worked because he didn't say a word, he glanced over at me quite a few times before giving up though. When the teacher came in I had to put them away though. I wonder if she has already contacted my parents yet. I don't think that they would care too much though. I have done worse and gone without a single scolding from them. I was as if they almost never existed in my life. I actually made it through to lunch with out a single distraction and I would have liked to keep it that way, but I knew it was near impossible.

As I walked up to the roof I saw something glinting on the stairs. However as I got closer I noticed it was a silver hourglass charm. The chain was so delicate I was scared it would break if I touched it. When I finally got the nerve to touch it I saw some images flashing through my mind. I saw… cherry blossoms? But they were just hanging in midair. I was as if someone hit the stop button on time.

Out of the blue a blade slashed a petal in two. I saw Ladybug standing there with a sword in hand. What was he doing here? I was snapped out of my trance by a loud crash noise down the hallway. Maybe I’m superstitious, but I took off. When school finally ended I rushed out of class and tripped over an invisible turtle. There was nobody in the hall to see my little moment so I was glad. I looked down to see a bloody knees so I sighed and went to the nurse’s office limping. The nurse looked really young and had a nametag labeled Ms. Gong. When I closed the door, she looked up from her computer and saw my knee.

“My, my, we’ll have to patch that up.” She exclaimed. I winced when she put disinfectant on but otherwise kept quiet. When she finished bandaging it up I thanked her and took out the hourglass necklace.

“Ms. Gong,” I started, “do you know who this belongs to?”

She looked awfully stunned but nonetheless nodded. “It belongs to Tao. He has red hair, you should be able to spot him.” Oh… so he was Ladybug. His name might be Tao but I think that Ladybug suited him better. I nodded and took in the new info.

“Do you know where I could find them so I can return this?” I questioned her.

“Everyone knows that the meet on the abandoned wing of the third floor” She replied.

I thanked her for patching up my knee and telling me the new information. I left the nurse’s office and trekked up to the third floor. As I exited the stairwell I saw that on my left there was a perfectly pristine hallway and on my right was filled with cobwebs and flickering lights. I wondered what I ever did to deserve this as I trudged to my right. As I walked down the hallway the more freaked out I got. In my mind I begged to the unicorns above that they wouldn’t recognize me from last night. The last room down the hall had the lights on and the sound of laughter coming from it so I took a deep breath and opened the door.

The boys in the room immediately stopped what they were doing as I entered the space. I looked around quickly and saw a bunch of boys just horsing around. Were they really the feared gang they are made out to be? One guy’s hair really stood out to me but I cut my observation short. His hair was all different shades of the rainbow, were unicorns living in there? I just wanted to get out of there as soon as possible so went up to Ladybug and held out his necklace. “This is yours.” I stated. His eyes widened as he snatched it from me.

“Where did you get this?” he asked.

“It isn’t my fault if you leave your stuff lying around.” I replied snappily. And even as I left the room I felt the prickle of eyes watching me.

Tao POV

The boys were all playing around until the door opened, revealing a girl with amber hair. We were so stunned that we didn’t move. DO was motionless still choking Chanyeol. I felt my mark burn again but I couldn’t figure out why. Mi-Yun walked up to me and my heart started to beat faster. When she held out my necklace I was so shocked I snatched out of her hand. I asked her how she got it and she snappily replied, “It isn’t my fault if you leave your stuff lying around.” I could tell that Chen was stifling a laugh so I turned and glared at him. He promptly shut up and I watched the girl leave the room. I would have to ask the leaders of Exo about my mark malfunctioning. I didn’t know what to do about it.

Lay suggested that we follow her to make sure that she gets home safe so we created a group of four people to follow her. The group consisted of Lay, Chen, Chanyeol, and I. We got halfway down the street before some creeps started hitting on her. But her reaction was something different entirely.

Mi-Yun POV

As I walked down the street I started thinking about what happened earlier. I was surprised that they didn’t try to kill me or something because I trespassed onto their territory. Maybe they weren’t the feared gang everyone though them to be. It was like that at my old school. My gang and I were feared throughout the whole school and town. But we were just a band of lonely kids going down the wrong path. The gang and I were family, we didn’t judge each other and we told each other everything. When I had to move away some of the boys had cried. I was tearing up now at the thought.

Some moron interrupted my sentimental thought by trying to hit on me. His face was flushed and I could smell the alcohol on his breath. “Yeesh, get a breath mint would you?” I exclaimed loudly.

The man slurred something I couldn’t hear before coming at me with a fist. Crap, what have I gotten myself into now?
