I woke up to my alarm clock screaming in my ear, great way to wake up right? When I finally opened my eyes, I pulled off my covers and told myself to get up or I would be late. Reluctantly sitting up I rubbed my drooping eyes. I strolled over to my closet and pulled out my new school's uniform. I gave it a condescending look and pulled it on, but put on some spandex shorts under the skirt. Because knowing me, I might get in a fight and high kicking isn't such a good idea with a skirt on is it? Then I approached the amber forest of tangles with a brush.

After brushing my teeth, packing my bag, eating breakfast, etc. I headed out the door but made sure to call my parents. They were oversea with their jobs to worry about. As I walked on the sidewalk I though about the school, I had been to it before so I knew my way around. But I was worried about a gang I heard some rumors about. Was it called Hex Dog? No, I think it was EXO, but Hex Dog sounds so much better. Well anyway, they are composed of 11 or 12 boys and they all attended my high school. You can learn a lot by listening to hairdressers gossiping. No, I was not eavesdropping; I just have ears.

Once I arrived at the school I stood at the front gates and took a deep breath before boldly walking in. I had received a schedule and locker beforehand so I was all ready to go. I saw some kids in the hallway looking at me weirdly; they were probably looking at my tawny hair. So what if they don't like me? I didn't walk in here to impress them, so they would have to deal with it. I situated my things in my locker and headed to class. When I walked in I swear I could have been on a stage. I had practically everyone's attention; I ignored them and walked up to the teacher. She introduced herself as Ms. Gan, she was really friendly to me but I wasn't sure if it was just because she was just nice in general or because I was a new student. I'm pretty sure it was the latter.

Ms. Gan told me some rules of the classroom and some other basics of the school. She also said that she would introduce me to the class. I wasn't happy with that decision, but I would have to deal with it. I sat in the hallway until I was called in. to pass the time, I observed people. No, I'm not a stalker I just like watching people. (Gi: Suuure) When Ms. Gan finally poked her head in and motioned for me to come in, I was practically half-asleep. "Class we have a new student here today, please treat her well." Ms. Gan stated.

I stepped foreword and nodded my head to the class, "My name is Lee Mi-Yun but you can call me Mi-Yun," I spoke loud and clear. I scanned the room for an empty seat and saw on next to some really tan guy.

I strode towards him and asked, "Is this seat open?" He looked surprised at first. Does he have something against me sitting here? When he finally nodded I let out a tiny sigh and plopped down. When Ms. Gan started teaching I tried to pay attention but like the ex-delinquent I was, my mind wandered somewhere else. While my eyes were roaming the room, I accidentally locked eyes with a guy that had ladybug red hair; we stayed that way for a few seconds before pulling our gazes away. I shifted in my seat awkwardly and tried to focus on my schoolwork again.

When class was over I stretched out my partially numb legs before heading up to the roof to take a nap. I had totally forgotten my lunch at home this morning so I was just going to take a nap until the next period. But when I opened my eyes I could see the moon overhead. Crap! I had just missed half of school! I standing up I stretched out my sore back before shivering. It was chilly outside. As I navigated myself to the exit I saw the light flicker. I felt like something would jump out at me, and something did. Some idiot came and crashed into me. We both fell but he quickly recovered. I took my time stand up, and was about to say something but there was a crashing sound further down the hallway.

When I finally got a good look at his face I saw it was that tan dude that sat next to me. He flinched when a loud sound was produced from further down the hallway. I felt his sweaty hand clamp down on my mouth and pulling me into dark corner. I heard heavy footsteps and the figure behind me tensed up when he heard some of the thugs yelling. Were they after him? What did he do to make them so mad? When the noise died down he released me and ran off in some other direction. I was still staring at the place he ran off to but soon shook my head out of its daze. The rest of my trip home had been peaceful but I was still thinking about that encounter. I opened the door to my house to be greeted by silence. I was used to this so it was no big deal. I fixed some ramen for dinner and then went to bed.

When I woke up the next day I felt really sore, but I forced my lazy butt out of bed and got ready for school. When I looked at the clock I was shocked. 3:00 AM! My mouth was hanging open and I paused where I was. Which was halfway through jamming my face with scrambled eggs. When I recovered from the shock I continued to get ready. I might as well take a walk since I got up early. I shoved my black beanie on my head and took off into the frigid night air. I enjoyed the peace and quiet to myself. I came upon a park I didn't know existed.

As I walked closer I heard some alarming sounds. The cracking of wood and pained screams are never good this early in the morning. But blame my delinquent side, because I found my feet going closer. But the sight I found was quite appalling. I could plainly see two groups who I assumed were gangs of some sort. They were dressed differently so I could see the difference like fire and water. The first group was wearing black head to toe and facemasks while the second wore... my school uniform! As I slowly slinked foreword I saw really strange things happening, I rubbed my eyes to make sure it was real. To my dismay, it was. The group from my school had glowing tattoos and had... powers? I watched Ladybug (that guy with red hair) in awe; he took on four people at one point. I think he took some form of martial arts because an amateur could not complete those high kicks. Some guy was shooting lightning out of his hands, which could not have been good for his skin. Another was... bending water? I gasped, was he from Avatar?

But one person caught my attention; he had bleach blonde hair and was staggering around. Was he hit in the head? His power might have been that one where you can control things with your mind, because people were flying left and right. But when he turned on one of his teammates my jaw worked its way open. Blondie had thrown his teammate into a tree! My knuckles were turning white but I had to restrain myself from rushing out there. This wasn't my fight I couldn't interfere. When the people in black had retreated I tried to back away as slowly as possible, but as cliché as it sounds, I stepped on a branch and it cracked piercingly. I had caught the attention of the boys, but darted before they could see my face.

??? POV

When we had wrapped up the fighting I went up to Luhan. I was temped to sock him in the face. How could he do that to DO? I was content with shoving him though. We all heard a sharp crack and looked up to see a figure with auburn hair and our school uniform. We were rooted in place, had someone seen us fight with our powers? I thought back to school and remembered that a new student came today, was that her? She had sat next to me and I didn't remember a thing? I even ran into her at night in the school. Way to go Kai, way to go. I started walking off and the other members joined me. I didn't have to look back to know that Luhan was still sitting there.

When the other members had regrouped back at our hideout, I explained, "That person was the new girl that came today." Everyone was shocked to her that it wasn't just another one of the clan leader's spies. But the bigger problem was that a mortal had seen us using our powers. A mortal.

"How should we approach this?" Chen announced. Everyone pondered his statement before Xiumin spoke up.

"We should just keep her nearby and make sure that she doesn't tell anyone." He suggested. Everyone gave a nod of approval but Tao. Did he have something against her? We all went our separate ways to think about our dilemma.
