divorces and doctor's appointments

The next day was Amy's doctor's appointment. Amy anti decided she would go alone while Ty confronted Lily about the incident that happened the night before.

Ty was cooking breakfast when Lily came up to the Loft.

Good morning she said pleasantly.

Morning Amy said back to her.

Mom we need to talk Ty said.

Okay about what Lily asked a little confused.

Wade showed up here last night Ty said.

Really Lily asked her voice shaking.

Yep are you still with him Ty asked his voice Sharp.

No Lily said starting to cry.

Really because he asked where you were Ty said getting angry. If you're seeing him I'm done.

No Ty I promise we've been separated for 4 years since I got out of rehab the last time. He wants me back but I want a divorce I promise that's the truth Lily said now sobbing.

I'm going to choose to believe you under a couple circumstances 1 you file for divorce today and 2 if he shows up again I am going to call the cops.

That's fine Lily said.

I have to go Amy said awkwardly she didn't want to leave right in the middle of this fight but she had to.

Amy set down in the waiting room picking up one of the magazines.

She was one of the last people to get called.

Amy Fleming the nurse finally called.

The nurse led her to a little room down the hallway.

What you're describing sounds like postpartum depression the doctor said.

I'm going to give you a prescription for some meds you can take to stop the panic attacks the doctor said writing something on a little pink slip and having it to her.

Thank you Amy said taking the slip from the doctor.

I will Amy said shaking the doctor's hand before he left the room.

Amy went to the pharmacy her fill her prescription.

The pharmacist filled her prescription and she went home.

was not happy she had to take medication or this she was worried about taking it because because of her family history.

Amy went back up to the Loft and saw Luke and Lyndy playing together,Lily filling out divorce papers and Ty trying to get to the twins to sleep.

The rest of the day was uneventful.

Later that night Amy was making dinner when she heard somebody yelling for Lily from outside.

She immediately knew it was Wade.

Lily was on a trail ride with Luke and Ty was busy playing with the other three kids.

Knowing Ty was distracted and Lily wasn't there Amy decided to call the cops.

Yes I need police Heartland Ranch my mother-in-law is being harassed by her ex-husband Amy said calmly to the operator.

Okay the police will be there in 20 minutes the operator said.

Okay thank you have a nice day Amy said.

You're welcome ma'am you too the operator said and then hung up.

The cops arrived around 20 minutes later just like the operator said they would.

Ty didn't even notice the cops until Amy told him to come outside and talk to them.

Ty was taking to the cops when Luke and Lily got back .

Mom what's going on Luke asked.

Amy could tell Luke was a little nervous it's nothing to worry about sweetie they're just here to talk to Grandma why don't you go put the horses away Amy said.

Okay as long as you promise nothing bad is happening Luke said.

I promise Amy said pulling Luke into a hug now go put the horses away and wash up for dinner..

Wade Dalton you are under arrest for harassment officer said handcuffing him and putting him in the back police car.

After the police left Amy, Ty and Lily all thought it was best for Lily to go back to the dude ranch for tonight things were still pretty tense between her and Ty.

Amy finished cooking dinner and they ate and the family eat peace not really saying much.

The events of the last 2 nights waiting on both Amy and Ty's Minds.

After dinner they put the kids to bed and then decided to watch a movie although neither one of them really watched the movie it was just an excuse to be able to sit and talk.

How was your doctor's appointment Ty asked.

It was okay I guess Amy said.

Well what did the doctor say Ty prompted.

He said it's postpartum depression sometimes it comes out in panic attack he gave me these Amy said pulling the pill bottle out of her purse tears welling up in her eyes.

Ty took the pill bottle from her and placed it on the coffee table putting his arm around Amy.

What's wrong it's not a bad thing the doctor gave you medication it might help Ty said Softly.

I know but I'm scared Ty what if I end up with my dad Amy cried.

That is not going to heaven Ty reassured her.
