life throws curve balls

adjusting to a different life

It had been 2 weeks since Ty had gotten out of the hospital.

Today was his first physical therapy appointment.

Dr. Bennett had told him that he only had a 50% chance of walking again but Ty refused to give up.

Amy was excited for Ty's appointment he had been struggling the past couple of weeks to adjust to not being able to use his legs and she thought maybe working towards his goal would make it a little easier to tolerate not being able to walk.

When they got to the physical therapy
Center Amy  got Ty and his wheelchair out of the car

When they walked into the physical Therapy Center they were greeted by a tall dark-haired fair-skinned woman who introduced herself as Sam.

and Ty introduced themselves.

This particular physical therapy session was just Sam stretching Ty to get his muscles used to being stretched again.

How is that Amy asked as we were leaving.

I want to expecting it to hurt as much as it did Ty  admitted

Why didn't you  tell her she would have went easier on you Amy said.

I just wanted it to be over I know that probably makes me sound weak Ty said.

Ty your anything but weak Amy said leaning down to kissing him.

When they got home Ty took a nap..

The physical therapy had taken it's toll.

Later that night Ty was trying to  get a plate out of the cabinet .

The plate fell onto the floor and smashed.

Damn it Ty said frustrated.

Amy who was sitting on the couch heard the noise.

Are you okay Amy asked.

Yes but now there's glass all over the floor Ty said.

It's okay I'll clean it up Amy said.

Lyndy step back Amy said trying to clean up the glass.

Later that night Amy noticed that Ty was being distant.

Ty what's wrong Amy asked.

Nothing Ty said.

Ty Amy said raising an eyebrow.

Ty sighed.

I guess I just feel guilty Ty said.

Guilty why Amy asked.

Because since the accident I haven't been able to help you with anything Ty said.

Ty that's not your fault Amy said.

I know but it's hard on me Ty said.

I know Amy said.

I don't want to be a burden on you Ty said.

Your not I love you Amy said.

I love you too Ty said kissing Amy.

I'm sorry it's taken me so long to update this I've been really busy lately. Thank you for being so patient and thank you reading I hope you enjoyed this chapter.
