My Life My Love (An Eremika story)

I'm really sorry if you guys thought this was a chapter! I feel so guilty. 

But hopefully this A/N will help you guys feel a little better or something! 

The last time I updated this story was when I started my 7th grade year and considering that I'm in high school now...yeah, a pretty long time. I'm still in shock that there are still people reading this story, and it makes me feel guilty when I see people begging for updates. 

So...let's begin this Author's Note, shall we?

I created this story because obviously, I was IN LOVE with Eremika (and I still am) and had an idea for the story. But this idea wasn't well thought out, I didn't even have an ending! It's always better to have the ending first before you write out your story, it's like your destination point. You work out a certain path to get this certain ending. It makes things sort of easier.

However, I didn't do that because I was still a rookie in writing stories. Therefore, I wrote this story carelessly (and I was so glad people still enjoyed it) and just wrote random chapters. Recently, I had realized I was turning this into a slice of life story which I never wanted from the beginning because the idea I had for this story was something that needed to be consistent and not just a "stop and go". 

So, I wrote the last chapter and added drama because I knew the story would start to get dull and boring if I just continued on with the "lovey-dovey" life between Eren and Mikasa which I think you guys may have liked, but I thought it wouldn't be satisfactory. 

As a result, I created a chapter that began a whole new arc that I didn't even have a plan for and gave you guys a cliffhanger, for like over two whole years (i would be freaking pissed). 

I pretty much just wrote a story with different events without an ending in sight and didn't even think of one. 

Then you add my writer's block. Because of the fact that I had no ending for this story and not knowing how to develop these chapters fully, my mind was b l a n k .

So, I just dropped it for a while, hoping I'd get an idea as I focused on my studies. I never did though, and I eventually forgot about it. 

However, people were still interested, giving me comments which would remind me about that story. I would think like, 'Oh yeah, I haven't updated in a while. I should update soon.' I would always have these thoughts but I never acted upon them. 

Basically, I just ignored it while also feeling happy about people liking my stories (yeah, I suck I know)

Then in October, I decided that I needed to make a decision about the future of my stories. As you guys probably have seen, I discontinued my other Eremika story because as I was a rookie, I wrote that story with no destination, just an idea for a prompt but not a story. As for my Eremika one-shots, I decided to leave it on-going because I still have several ideas in my head and felt that I may want to update once in a while. 

Anyways, the future of this story.

At this moment, I am working on an astrology story to work on my writing skills as well as developing characterization and whatnot (they are low-key my weaknesses). I want to write this story as if I'm writing a book that's going to be published and sold in bookstores. And so far I have realized that it's not that simple.

It's not exhausting, it's actually sometimes fun but I do get a little demotivated at some point. 

That being said, I had to figure out what I'm going to do with this story. 

I want to publish this astrology story no matter what before 2020, and I plan to make at least 10-15 chapters near the end of December to give myself more time to make chapters in the next year. 

I'm gonna be honest, right now, I know what to do for the next chapter, the problem is I'm having a hard time juggling between each story. I'm gonna try and figure out a schedule, but I'm hoping I will continue this story somewhere at the end of November or the beginning of December. However, it is just mere hope. I can't predict the future. My top priority is the astrology story, but I promise I will try to make time for "MLML".

To wrap it all up, the reason why updates for this story are uncertain is because of my astrology story. I want to make sure the story plot is going smoothly and nothing is being left out.
