A child forced into adulthood
Without a warning nor an echo
Constrained to life's rules
My inner child aches to turn up the volume
To cage the fear of adulthood and be free
The fear is soul shaking
It's frustrating
My bare skin itching
I want to escape
To strangle the fear of no control
