Luckily,  the wounds wernt too bad, so Faithpaw just put oal leaves to cover up the wounds.  Faithpaw limped to the medicine den with her herbs, put them into the herb store, and padded to her nest.  When she was sure flameheart was asleep, she carefully padded intp the store, picked up some dock, removed the oak leaves, and applied the precious medicine.  Footsteps sounded behind her.  It was Littlefield, the newest elder.

"Ey, whats that dock for, little one", Littlefield said accusing.

" I-erm-its", Faithpaw stuttered nervously.  The old cat looked at Faithpaw's wounds her eyes turning from hard to soft with sympathy.

 "Finjaw agin, that mouse brain".

"How did you know"?

"Well, Finjaw has always bullied you, young one, im not stupid".  Faithpaw looked at her feet, feeling like she wasnt needed.

" i suppose your right, Littlefield ", Faithpaw mumbled to her.

" marigold would be better, you know", Flameheart said, warmth in his voice.  Faithpaw jumped in surprise,  she didnt know Flameheart was awake.

"Oh- ok, thank y-you", Faithpaw muttered.  Flameheart just nodded.  Faithpaw licked the juce onto her wounds, then placed dirty cobwebs on them, Cobwebs that had so much dirt in them, they were about to have to be thrown away.  She padded back to my nest wearily.  Faithpaw soon fell asleep.  A starclan cat came to her.  She was smaller than Faithpaw, but looked almost exactly like her.

" what the- who are you", Faithpaw asked her. The cat replied in a high voice.

"Im lightkit, you twin littermate o have to deliver something to you."

 " what is it"?

"Find the faith in a cat with many troubles, trials. A cat who is yet to seek revenge. Born alone. Like faith being lost forever".  Faithpaw realized this was a Starclan cat.

" why are you telling me this, lightkit, and not Flameheart "?

" Flameheart already knows, thats why he knew you needed to be a medicine cat", Lightkit said.

 "Oh, ok".

Voices rang in her head.

" We were so tiny, happy and shiny, playing tag and getting chased, singing and clapping, laughing and napping, eating mice and making faces, then we got bigger, that was the trigger, like shadow invading thunder. ".

" we were so happy, Faithpaw, then i just- disappeared.  Killed by green cough".

Faithkit woke up at sunhigh, her eyes wide.

 "What did I miss"?

" Oh, you finally woke ".

" what do you mean"?

"Someone mixed poppy seeds with the marigold.  Must have thought it was death berrys".  She knew who he was talking about.  then Faithpaw remembered something.  The day that her old leader had falen off the rock.  She thought leap had done it.  But leap and loner looked really similar, they both had white pelts, but the only difference difference between the two was one had black claws and the other didnt.

But they wern't related.  It all clicked into place.  Leap didnt push Acornstar off, loner did.  Loner had killed Acornstar- twice.  Faithpaw felt sheer rage and the need for revenge surge through her fur.  Loner, the cat she thought was good, had betrayed her.

" Faithpaw, your going out", Flameheart said, looking panicked.   Thats when Faithpaw felt dizzy.  Her vision went black.

Faithpaw woke up, the world around her blurry.  Voices sounded in the room.

 "Will she be ok"?

"She should".

"What happened"?

"Someone put deathberry seeds in her herbs, mixed it with poppy seeds, it somehow didnt kill her the moment she swollowed it".  Faithpaw couldn't recognize the voices.   Though she was pretty sure one was her mom.  I could hear shuffling, though i couldnt remember much.  I couldnt remember anything.  I could only remember my name.  My head pounded.

" Ow", Faithpaw groaned, her greyish bluish eyes flashing in pain.  Both of the cats padded over to her.

"Faithpaw" , the she cat said, she figured that sheand the tom were mates.

"Erm, who are you", Faithpaw mumbled.

"Im your mother, how can you not remember me", her mom said, shocked.

"Im guessing this... tom is your mate?"

"No, he's a medic medicine cat, the person who helped you when you passed out.  Saved you, saved my only kit thats alive in this world."

 " but-what about Finjaw "?

" Finjaw?  Oh him.  Hes a disappointment, trying to kill you, and all, im surprised he didnt just kill me, instead.  After all, he is my kit.

Faithpaw started to regain her memory.  How Finjaw attacked her.  Twice.  She dug her claws into her moss hissing in her head.

"Oh so im the most important", Faithpaw retorted, glaring her moonlight.

" Yes, my kit you are the most important ", her mother soothed.

" There is more in the world then me, you know, mom, like your other kits.  The ones you never tell me about.  The ones you dont care about.  Well, I bet, soon, you will forget about me, just as you forgot about your other kits.  I dont call that love, i call it wanting to have kits then when you get board of them, they appear dead to you, just like Shadowclan cats, mother", Faithpaw retorted agin, her fur rising with anger.  Her mother stood, tail stiff woth surprised, then answered.

"Your right, my little mouse brain kit, a fox could be more nice then you fox heart", her mother said triumphantly leaping to the doorway, then looked out at her.

" Oh, and good luck being a medicine cat", her mother said mockingly, walking out of the den.  Faithpaw felt hurt, but thought nothing of it.  She said her feelings.  Her mother said hers.  Or, Moonlight said hers.  Faithpaw sighed, laying her head on her nest.  Ugh, im hungery, but I've lost my trust, i cant eat.  Faithpaw yawned, closing eyes, hoping she would fall asleep, but the argument stayed in her mind.  A smell landed next to her.  So sweet, so yummy.  It was a mouse.

"Thank you, Flameheart", she said, eating it, remembering the Starclan cat. I'm going crazy.  Faithpaw thought as she fell asleep.
