Veronica's POV

My phone was blowing up from texts from my friends. "I'm sorry I have to go." I said putting my shirt on. "It's okay I understand." He said walking towards me and put his hands on my shoulders. I smiled and looked at him. "I'll text you later." I said. "Okay. Here take this." He said grabbing his hoodie again. I shook my head. "No! Like I said--" "and like I said take it it's fine." I sighed. "Fine." He chuckled and slipped it over me. "It's big." I said. "Well, it was mine and now it's yours." He said. I smiled and leaned upto kiss him. I'm just trying get used to the fact that it's with passion and not lust anymore. To be honest I kind of miss the lust a bit. My phone was still buzzing with texts. I pulled away. "I better go now." I told him. He sighed. "Fine." I walked out of the room and and to my place Betty, Cheryl and Toni were standing at the door when I walked in. "Oh, my god! There you are!" Cheryl yelled. "Okay, lower your voice." I said. "Lower my voice?! Bitch, you never responded, and where the hell did you go last night. And whose hoodie is that?" "I never responded because my phones dead. I went out. And that's none of your concern." Just then my phone chimed. "Yeah, it don't look like your phones dead." Toni said. I rolled my eyes. "Gee, thanks." I said sarcastically. "Welcome." She smiled. I rolled my eyes. "Anything else?" I asked. "Why do we even bother. You never say anything." Cheryl said. "Exactly my thoughts. So does this mean you'll leave me alone and stop texting me?" I asked. "Why would we do that? It makes you come home." Toni said. I looked at Betty who just looked at me. "You wanna say something?" I asked. She shook her head. "That's what I thought." I said and walked back to my room. I pulled out phone and texted him.

Jughead

V: I miss you

J: Me, too. Are your friends home?

V: Sadly yes. I wish they weren't though

J: Me, too😏

I giggled to myself.

V: Eventually I'm just gonna say 'fuck it'

J: Can't you say that today?

V: Sorry, no.

J: Tease

V: I know!

J: Here, I'll text you in a bit I'm getting kind of busy right now

V: Okay

I put my phone and just smiled and slightly giggled to myself. "What the hell are you giggling at?" Betty asked. "Nothing." I said. She sighed and walked away.

After a few hours walked out of my room. I was only in my bra and underwear. Meaning you could the hickeys that were only neck, chest, stomach and thighs. Whether they were old and faded, or new from earlier. The only three were sitting on the couch when I walked into the living room. "Uh, Veronica?" Toni said. I looked back away her. "Yes?" I asked. "Your stomach is covered in... in..." I don't think she knows how to continue that sentence. "Oh, the hickeys that are all over my body?" I asked. "Yeah." She said. "Oh, yeah, the ones on my neck aren't the only ones. Figured Betty would have told you." Both Cheryl and Toni looked at Betty. "You knew?" Toni asked. "Yeah, sorry." Betty mumbled. "Nevermind that. Who the hell is giving you those hickeys?" Cheryl asked. "I don't know, but I think I'll probably go get more." I said. "What?!" Cheryl and Toni yelled. "Yeah, I'll be right back." I said and walked into my room. I grabbed my phone.

Jughead

V: Would you mind coming over for a bit? But don't knock.

J: Sure, but why?

V: Just come here, please...

J: One minute

J: And no I won't knock

I waited a good minute before I got another text from him.

J: I'm here.

I bit my lip a little.

V: Okay

I got up and walked out of my room. The other girls were still sitting on the couch. I walked over to the door. "Are you leaving like that?" Toni asked. I looked back at her. "Nope." I said. "Then, what are you doing?" Toni asked. I shrugged. "Nothing." I opened the door slightly and slipped out and shut the door. "Hey, handsome." I said. "You are practically naked." He said. "I know. I just don't care." He chuckled. "Yea, well, I do." I smiled. "Aw, why is that?" I asked. "Cause I don't need others looking at you." "The only people who are looking at me are my friends, and well, now you." "Good, but I'd rather it be only me." "But they're just my friends. Besides, two of them are dating and the other one I dont even know what's happening with her." He chuckled. "Still." He said putting his hands on my waist and pulling me closer. I bit my lip a little. "Why'd you want to come here if your friends are home?" He asked. I shrugged. "I don't know. To see if they'd come out here to see why I walked like this. And to kiss you." I said. "Oh." He said and kissed me. It was passionate, but with a little bit of lust. I added more lust in the mix. We stayed like this until air became an issue. "I better go back inside." I said. "Yeah, and put some clothes on." I looked at him and smiled. "No." I said and hurried inside giggling a little. "Why on Earth are giggling?" Cheryl asked. "Can't I just be giggling without being questioned?" I asked. "Uhh, no, you can not, with how much you go out you need to be interrogated." Toni said. I rolled my eyes. "Well, I'm twenty-two I can do as I please." I argued. "Yeah, well, we are all twenty-three." Betty said. "So? You guys just so happened to few months before me. It's not like you're all my parents." "Well, we need to be." Toni said. I rolled my eyes. "I'm going to my room, getting dressed then leaving." I said. "To go where?" Cheryl asked. "None of your business. Stay out of it." I said and walked to my room.
