Veronica's POV

I woke up to a quiet house which is weird considering the people I live with. I climbed out of bed and walked out into the kitchen. Nobody. I walked back and looked in their rooms. All of the rooms were empty. Okay? Weird. I smiled and walked to my room and grabbed my phone and called Jughead. He immediately picked up.

"Hello?"

"My friends aren't home." I told him. I could tell he was smirking.

"Really?" He asked. I bit my lip a little.

"Yeah." I said. There was knock in the background.

"Wait hang on." I heard the door open. "What are you guys doing here?" He said to somebody.

"To give you these." A guy said.

"Okay? Thanks." Then the door shut. "Sorry. What were you saying?"

"Who was that?" I asked.

"Just somebody."

"Oh, so as I was saying my friends.." the door opened with the three of them walking in. "Are here. I gotta go." I said and hung up the phone. I looked at the three girls who had just walked into the room. "Who were you talking too?" Betty asked. I shrugged. "What do you mean?" I asked. Cheryl scoffed while Betty rolled her eyes. "Nevermind." She said. "Shouldn't you get dressed?" Toni asked. "What do you mean?" I asked. "You are only wearing a bra and underwear. Shouldn't you put clothes on?" She asked. I shrugged. "Mmm, don't really feel like it." I said. She rolled her eyes. "Where were you guys?" I asked. "We went out for a bit. When did you get up?" Cheryl asked. "Just a few minutes ago. Now if you'll excuse me I need to leave." I said. "Why so you can go get more hickeys from random guys?" Betty mumbled. I looked at her. "It's not random guys." I said. "Oh, is it a girl?" Toni asked. "What?! No!" "So you are admitting your going to meet a guy." Cheryl said. I shrugged and walked back to my room.

I was walking towards the door and stopped to look at my phone. I got an email about going back to LA for a week, but I over heard a conversation that sounded a little weird to me. "I miss home." Cheryl said. "Babe, you are home." Toni told her. "I think she means Riverdale." Betty said. I froze. Isn't that where Jughe-- Oh, my God. I quickly opened the door and started quickly walking to Jughead's room. I knocked. When he opened it I quickly walked past him. "Hey are you okay?" He asked shutting the door. I went and sat on the bed of the bed. "Are you okay, baby?" He asked bending down on his knees. I just looked at him. "Come on. You can tell me." I sighed. "Where did you say you were from again?" I asked. "Riverdale. Why?" He asked. He looked and sounded confused. "You know how we are hiding our relationship from my friends?" "Mmhmm?" "I just overheard a conversation and they're also from Riverdale." I told him. "Oh well, I didn't talk to a lot of people. Just a couple of friends. They may not even know me." He said. "And who were these friends?" I asked. "Well, I only had two then joined a gang." He said. "Well, two of mine are in a gang called the Serpents I think it was." I said. "Yep! That would be it!" I sighed. "Toni Topaz and Cheryl Blossom." I said. "That would two of them I knew." "And Betty Cooper." "B... Be... Betty Cooper?" He asked suddenly getting nervous. "Y.. yeah, why?" I asked. "Oh, no. Oh, no no no." He said and stood up. I got up too. "What? What is it?" I asked. "Your telling me your friends and are living with Betty Cooper?" He asked. I nodded. "Yes, why?" "That's my ex-girlfriend." "Is that a bad thing?" "Yeah, a bit. She was kind of possessive of me." "What to you mean?" I asked. "She didn't like it very much when I broke up with her. She become completely insane. Anytime she saw me she would try and throw herself on me. Going to school was hard so I had to transfer. Yes, going to a school full if druggies wasn't fun, but being away from her was better than anything else." He said. "When was this?" I asked. "Our Sophomore year of highschool." He said. "Oh well, it's been seven years since then. Also, she's never spoken a word about you. At least not to me." I said. "Well, I don't want to take that chance." He said. "Well, I wasn't saying I wanted to meet my, well our friends technically. Just wanted to tell you." He looked at me. "Okay." "Now why was I calling you earlier... oh, right! To do a little bit of this." I said and kissed him. He put it all lust then pulled away. "I remember you saying you missed the lust." I smiled. "Uh-huh." He picked me up and I gasped. I wrapped my legs around him.
