Throughout the night you had awoken on many different accounts, each weirder then the last. The first time you woke up your throat was dryer then sand from the Sahara. It took three glasses of water running down your throat before it felt normal again. The second awakening red and blue lights were flashing in front of your window. Upon looking outside there was two police cars blocking a shady looking individual from leaving the alley way. Of course this had to happen in your alley way. The third time you awoke, your pillows, blankets and other comforters were no longer on your bed. You looking around very confused, and slowly became scared. You won't scared by the fact that you didn't have them, those things fall off the bed all of the time. The thing that concerns you is that they weren't in your at all. If they weren't in sight that means someone else had to move them, which meant someone was in your room. You stood up glancing at the time on your alarm clock; it was two thirty-six. The room was dark, you didn't like any light in your room it irritated you. Slowly you picked your lamp. "God I miss my bat.." You groaned in annoyance as you opened your closet turning on the light. "Hm, no one" you softly whispered to yourself as you checked underneath your bed gasping in surprise at the sight of all your missing belongings. "I'm glad I found you guys.. but how the hell?" You hummed in thought as you pulled them out from under the bed. What was even more concerning was that they were all neatly folded and smelled of fresh lavender. "This is so weird" you mumbled to yourself placing the things back onto your bed. "I'm not dealing with this any longer!" You declared as you checked every inch of your room one last time before locking your door and window. That was the last time you woke up last night, until the sound of your alarm went off. "Are you fucking- I just wasted my whole night on- well, whatever the hell was happening!" Your complaints, of course, didn't matter you still had to get up and start your day. After changing into what you were going to wear for the rest of the day you made your way out to the small kitchen smiling at your aunt. "Hey auntie?" You hummed picking up your favourite fruit, seems like a good enough breakfast. "Yes dear?" Your aunt replied placing the dishes she was cleaning back into the sink so she could give her undivided attention to you. "Did you experience anything.. weird last night?" You hummed taking a bite of your simple breakfast. "Not that I can think of, why do you ask?" Your aunt walked over to you sitting next to you on a stool. "Just curious" you mumbled standing up, you walked over to the door waving goodbye to your aunt. "I'll see you later auntie" You yelled leaving before she said anything else.

Once you walked up towards the school you heard lots of murmurs, something about something getting vandalised. This made you chuckle slightly, it gave you a chance to let your Sherlock side take control. After glancing around you pulled out your phone going to your camera. Once you opened it you looked in it pretending to check your make up, but you were actually looking at the group of jocks behind you. You, being the observant type you took notice to a small dot of orange one one of their hands. You decided to ignore it and just continue with your mission. You looked at their mouths and started to make out what they were saying. Now others would most likely question on why going through all this trouble instead of just asking them. Ultimately this would be easier considering you know how to get what you want, when you want but this was more thrilling. It's the fun in the chase, not the catch. Anyway you made out that someone had spray painted the library.. "what!?" You yelled placing your phone back into your pocket before sprinting towards the library. You flung the door open, gasping upon the view in front of you. Some bastard spray painted the wall, in bright orange, 'books suck ass'. It was horrible, who would do this? Why? Out of all things you could be doing why did you decide to be a dumbass in a room with cameras. A groan of annoyance escaped your lips as you checked to make sure the librarians were alright.
You were sitting in class still ticked off with what had happened in the library. Luckily for you, it was already being taken care of. The jackass who committed the crime, didn't even try to hide his identity. What kind of dumbass doesn't think of things ahead? You hummed remembering that today was your B day, B days were your favourite because you got out of school a class early. Last year you had an extra class you weren't supposed to have, but because the school felt bad for making you do all of that extra work, they gave you a extra class off. The bell had rung interrupting you in the middle of your dialog. You stood up gathering all of your things, before leaving the classroom with the other students. Once you left you were met by jase, and in his hands was your bat, jacket and mask. You smiled brightly taking the items "thank you so much for replacing them!" You cheered hugging the things to your chest. "Don't I get a reward?" Your boyfriend complained, you returning his annoyance with a playful eye roll. You kissed him on the cheek before checking your watch. "Shit, I have to go I volunteered at the library, I owe them a favour. See you later jase" you called out since you were already halfway down the hallway. Your boyfriend chuckled at you watching as you ran off.
The library, your favourite place in the world, well besides maybe a really nice garden with a small bench, waterfall and the refreshing shade from a willow tree. Places like that only exist in stories though. You hummed placing your bag down on the bathroom floor, changing into something more, fitting for a step in librarian assistant. You wore a simple black pencil skirt and flats, your shirt was a dark green, and it was more like a sweater then a shirt, it had a wide v neck in the front and the back and it was woven together like wool but the material was way softer then wool could have ever dreamed to be. You stepped out of the bathroom walking up to the desk labelled 'information' on a bronze plank. You sat down hiding your bag underneath the desk as you started typing away on the computer upon the desk. Your job was to help point out the different sections of the library where they needed to go for their genre of book they're looking for. If you weren't doing that you had to put returned books back to where they belonged. After waiting a good twenty minutes for someone to ask you a question, to no arrival, you decided to start putting books back to where they belonged. You pushed your cart, with three different layers of books, around the library. You softly started to hum as a way to pass the time, but some how you lost track of time and it was already starting to get dark out. "I'll finish up putting these away and make sure that the door is closed behind me before I leave. I only have two more books so that situation most likely won't happen I'll finish in no time." You reassured yourself, but poor you, you hadn't been paying attention to where you were going. You ran the cart into someone. You instantly started to apologise pulling that cart away from their leg which you had just crashed it into. "Are you ok? Would you like me to find you some ice? I'm so sorry sir i wasn't paying attention please forgive me, it's my first time volunteering here." You bowed slightly in respect for the male in front of you. "Umm- it's ok don't worry about it fair maiden." He softly took your hand and bowed "I'm Ryan, and you are?" He hummed softly. You blushed lightly, no was has ever treated you quite like this before. "Y-y/n" you replied to the stranger, you weren't even mad that you stuttered. "It's nice to meet you y/n" he let go of your hand, you finally glanced at all of him. It appeared that he was wearing very short shorts seeing as you couldn't even see them underneath his purple hoodie. Although you didn't mind at all what he had dressed like, you were more interested in hearing him speak again, his voice was very pleasant to listen to. "It's nice to meet you too Ryan. Did you find everything alright?" You asked him, and just as he was about to answer the lights turned off.
"Shit.."
