Ch 16 The Lovers

"You really like to mind other people's business... where did I lick ah..." Polnareff coughed, embarrassed, "how should I say..." he made a lot of sound of sighing, whispered the main word, "toilet."
"What? Where?!" Joseph placed his hand on his ear, "I didn't catch that."
"It doesn't matter! I need to disinfect my tongue just gimme the medicine!!!" Polnareff was going to cry.
Kakyoin glanced, confused, "I think I heard something like... 'toilet'..." Joseph covered his mouth, snorted, then whispered in Kakyoin's ear, "shh... the fact is, I already know. This is just too funny to let go... haha!"
Yet he was talking to load, Polnareff wasn't dumb, "Ah!! So you've already heard from Jotaro!!!" He made a fake cry, turned away, "That old geezer! He tried to trick me! Damn it! I don't want any medicine from you!"
The old man laughed, "ok ok, my bad. Let me take a look. It might get infected." The French stared, wondering if he was serious. "So... you licked a toilet, eh?" Joesph coughed, then laughed harder.
And now Polnareff was really crying, "that's it!!! Let's just get on the road!! Jotaro!! Kakyoin!!! Oliv....." he glanced around, then back to the group, " where is Oliver?"
"She was with Kakyoin while you were fighting with old Enya." Joseph said, looking at Kakyoin, "I thought she come back with you."
The one being asked went silent, looking far away, "she... got something to do, someone to burry."
"..... let's all get out and take a look...."

Oliver placed the bracelet on a grave she had made, it was made poorly, compared to the stone graves next to it, just a buried land with a wood stick. "Your bracelet is made by sapphire..." she smiled, talking to the grave, "if only you were not working for Dio, you would have shined as bright as the sapphire under the morning sun." She drew a cross on her chest, closed her eyes, "rest in peace, Xenon."
"Oliver?" Kakyoin walked to her, "everyone is waiting." The latter nodded, went to her friend. "If Xenon was still alive, would you have fallen in love with him?" Before getting to there car, Kakyoin whispered to her.
"........ I don't know, it is another story."

They were now riding on a poor cart, with the old Enya, as Oliver heard it was Hol Horse who had stolen their jeep.
"You could sleep first, guys," Joseph told them, "none of you slept yesterday right?"
"I slept a little before..." Oliver replied, then she recalled that she was being held by Kakyoin when she woke up, she used her arm to hide her blushing face. Luckily no one saw her unusual, they were too tired to notice that.
They passed some food shops, the smelling of tasty food woke everyone at once. "Ah! Shish Kebab...." Joseph glanced, notice a lump of meat that was sticking with a bar, turning and baking. It is the hamburger of the Middle East, we should try some... and seem Kakyoin and Oliver aren't so happy since this morning... he glanced at the back, though, then he spoke louder, to the shopkeeper, "we should eat first, six please!"
"Ten dollars."
"Ten bucks....?"
Oliver woke up, as Joseph was talking too loud. When did I fall asleep.... it is the second time of this trip.... she wiped her eyes, yawned. She noticed that the old man is having bargaining with a shopkeeper, she turned and made a confused face to her friends.
"Mr. Joestar is trying to lower the price of the food", Polnareff explained, "you can keep on sleeping, Kakyoin is taking a nap too."
"Wake up already....." Kakyoin murmured.
Seeing Joseph holding a bag of Shish Kabab happily, Oliver smiled, "how old is he again... fine, it is good to be young again though." Yet Joseph's expression suddenly changed, staring something at their back... could it be...?
"Hey everyone!!!! She's awake!!!!" He shouted and pointed, they turned, saw Enya was standing right behind Kakyoin. However, the old woman did not show any hateful expression, instead, she was fear, swearing, as if she was going to die.
"I didn't say anything!!! Why did you come?! You think I am going to tell them the secrets of Dio's Stand?!" She said, trembling.
"What!!???"
The shopkeeper went forward, took off his sunglasses and hat.... show off his face. "He looks like Xenon....?!" Oliver and Kakyoin jumped, facing each other at that fact.
"Ah....ah!!" Some small tentacles running off from Enya's eyes, breaking through her eyeball, nose, and mouth, "YYYYAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!"
The group jumped away from her, scared. Oliver, the poor one, screamed, she was sitting right next to Enya on the cart, and the slowest jumping off the cart, Enya's blood flaw on her clothes. Kakyoin covered her eyes and hugged her at once, even though it may not help a lot.
"What the Hell!? Those tentacles!!!" Polnareff cried, not dare to watch how Enya struggled.
Enya kneeled on the floor, crying, "why are you here?! To kill me!!!!" Blood kept flowing as she spoke.
"Dio doesn't trust anyone. I am here..." the man put down his stuff and smiled, explaining to her, "to shut your mouth, and yo kill the other people with you."
Oliver was trembling, not because of the blood, half of the reason is that Enya was dying like how Xenon did, another half is how cruel Dio could be. "YYYYAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!" The old woman screamed, falling on the floor, being tortured by the tentacles.
"Eyna!!!!" Polnareff tried to save her, yet the bud was inside her body, even Jotaro could not save her. Her face was torn into half, more and more tentacles went out, tearing more of her body. That's not true..... even at the last moment, Enya thought, No way... Dio wouldn't treat me...... like this!!!!
"ENYA!!!!!" Polnareff cried, Silver Chariot cutter out some tentacles, they were dissolved under the sun.
"!!!! The tentacles are Dio's cells!!! They are the Spore!!!"
"Eyna... I heard you were the one who told Dio about the stands." The man smirked, "however, there is no way Dio would trust a lowly woman like you. You didn't even notice that."
"........!!" Tears starting falling from Enya's bleeding eyes.
"ENYA!!!!" Joseph called, throw the bag of food to Kakyoin and ran to her, "TELL ME HE SECRET OF DIO'S STAND!!!!"

"Say it!!!!! You probably had expectations for Dio. But now you should see that he is not the man you thought he was!!!" Joseph held the bleeding woman, shaking, "I have to beat Dio!!! Please!!!! Tell me!!!! TELL ME WHAT KIND OF STAND DIO HAS!!!!!"
"D...Dio....He......." after a whole, she murmured, Joseph got closer to her to see if she was going to say anything. "He.... really believes in me.... why would I tell... you....." her breath gone after her words of loyalty.
"OH GOD!!" Joseph hit the ground.
"Heh....heh heh heh heh heh heh heh hahahahahahahaha" the man laughed, grabbed the other's attention. "Haha haha!! Isn't this sad? She is a sorry sight. She thought she was trusted by Dio till the very end. That's how attractive he is. Heh heh heh."
"................." everyone went silent, mad. "I have very mixed feelings about Enya. Including my sister's death...." Polnareff murmured, "but you have to die."
"Although this is five on one, we won't hold back at all." Kakyoin put Oliver down, "be prepared."
"I ask you....." she stared at the man, she hated him already once she saw him, "did you kill Xenon with that, too?" 
"Xenon....?" The man placed his hand under his chin, "oh yea, that loveless guy. My poor little brother... Dio doesn't trust him even though he swore his loyalty to him. He planted his bud at once when we realized that he got a crush on you... I am still sad for Xenon though." He glanced, mocking, "he has a strong Stand power. He would not have died if he didn't fall in love with you! You are the one who kills Xenon!!!" Seeing she was helping her fist back, he laughed, "you cannot touch me...."
"ORA!!!!" Not waiting for his reaction, Jotaro placed his fists on the man already.
Instead, Joseph is the one who flew away, "YAAA!!!!"
"What the?!" Jotaro was shocked, even though the man was flying to the the the place he wanted.
"W... what the hell?! Mr. Joestar!! He flew?! Just like the other guy?!" Polnareff glanced at Joseph than to the man. Oliver ran off and held Joseph up.
"You fool... I wasn't done the explaining... you almost killed your own grandfather." The man wiped the blood on his face, staring at Jotaro, "Listen, you thought I only showed myself in front of you just to kill Enya...? Why my Stand The Lover?"
"You said your stand is The Lover...." Joseph coughed, "what the hell is that?"
The man smirked, "the battle has already begun... Mr. Joestar...." the others looked around, trying to find out his stand. 
"Bunch of idiots..... it doesn't matter how hard you try, you won't find my stand." The man took out some money, waving to a kid, "Hey kid, I'll pay you to hit my leg with that broom."
"..............?" The kid looked at the money, confused.
"DO IT NOW!!!!" The man shouted, scared the kid and hit his leg as he asked.
"May...Maybe..... YAAAAAAAA!!!!!" Joseph jumped up, screaming in pain.
"What happened!? Mr. Joestar!!" Kakyoin and Polnareff glanced back, Jotaro didn't say anything, he sweated as he could guess what was happening on his grandpa.
"It.... it hurts!!!!" Joesph cried, "I don't know why but I feel intense pain in my leg!!!"
"You still haven't realized it yet?" The man smirks, place his hand on his cheek, "Joseph Joestar, my stand is able to get inside people's bodies. The moment Enya died, it went deep inside your brain through your ear!"
"What?!"
"Kakyoin, can you use Hierophant Green to get into his ear to that thing out?" Oliver whispered to her red-haired friend. Kakyoin sweated, shook his head, whispered, "I am not sure where hie stand is, also the structure of the brain is too complicated, I may hurt Mr. Joestar's brain if I do it wrong."
"Geez..." she bit her lips, staring at the guy. Out of a sudden, the kid hit the man's leg once again and asking for the money.
"IT HURTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!"
"........" the man snored, "did I say you could hit me twice? You little...." and punched the kid away hard.
"Hey!!!!" Oliver yelled, running to the kid, "are you OK? Your nose is bleeding..." and helped him bandaging.
"To tell you the truth." The man glanced at Jotaro, "my stand Lovers is very weak... it doesn't even have the strength to move a strand of hair. It's the weakest stand ever to exist."
"But... you don't need strength to kill someone... do you get it? If I was in a traffic accident.... or hit by a baseball....or if I even trip, Mr. Joestar, your body is going to feel the damage several times stronger." Then he choked his hand a bit, the fake hand of Joestar's shook, even it could feel the pain.
"In 10 minutes, your brain is going to be devoured, you are going to die like Enya."
Jotaro hissed, grabbed the clothes of the man and going to punch. Kakyoin ran in front of him to stop him, "Jotaro, be calm!!! Don't do anything stupid!!!"
"No! I will make him feel nothing. I will kill him in the blink of an eye!" He shouted. At the same time, Oliver let the kid ran away, went back to them.
"Kill me in the blank of an eye? Ha! That's a good one!" He mocked, "why don't you try that, Jotaro?" He got closer to him, "where are you going to hit? My face? Like this?"
Jotaro went silent, mad. The man kept his mocking, "Hey what's wrong? Try it! Let's see what will happen. Try and open a hole in my chest." He glanced around, noticed a big stone, "or maybe you don't want to use your stand and smash me with a rock? Here I will give you a rick" he picked it up, "how's this one?" It triggered Jotaro into another mad level, he grabbed his neck, howled, "stop acting like you are the king. I will do it." "Ah...ah...." Joseph couldn't breathe well. Star Platinum's arm ran out, aiming at the guy's head. "Calm down Jotaro!!" Hierophant Green held the arm of Star Platinum, "you've already seen his ability! You want to kill your own grandfather?!"
The man smirked, "you are the one who is acting like a king... HERE" he punched Jotaro hard, caused him coughing our some blood.
"Jotaro!!!" Joseph shouted.
"Hahahahahahahha!!! Don't underestimate me, after the old geezer dies..." he held up the rock, going to hit him, "you are the next!! Be careful!!" Before the rock was hitting on Jotaro's head, it was held by another thing else.
"I will stop you before you did that," it was the tentacles from Eye of Truth, Oliver stared at the man, obviously she was angry, "you are not going to hurt my friend anymore."
"Ha...hahahahahaha! Now I could understand why Xenon liked you! But do you think you can stop me when you can't see my stand?" He laughed, then noticed that the remained people started running into another direction. "Jotaro!!! Don't let him get closer to Mr. Joestar!! Keep him away!! Oliver, Jotaro is left to you!!!" Kakyoin called, ran after Polnareff and Joesph.
"..... I see.." he smirked, "you think if you get away from me my stand will weaken.....?"
Oliver was not interested in listening to his murmuring, she went to Jotaro and checked him, "Jotaro... you have to keep your cool, if you go mad, you are falling into his trap."
"Hey, you two!!" He called, "I am talking to you! Are you ignoring me? Hey!!!" He pushed Oliver away and grabbed Jotaro's cuff.
Jotaro wasn't looking at him, the man hissed, "you.... are getting dirtier by the second... you are going to follow me until Joesph is dead?"
"What is your name again?"
"Steely Dan."
"You will pay..."
Oliver was quite worry about Jotaro, as well as Joseph, but she trusted on Kakyoin, she knew he had a plan that can save Joseph away from harm. "Jotaro... please be calm...." she whispered while looking at Dan stealing Jotaro's money away.

"Are you sure it is good to leave Oliver with them?" Polnareff asked.
Kakyoin smiled, "I trust in her and she knows, we believe in each other." He turned, stopped at an electronics store, "here! They have TV's!!!"

They were walking to the ditch, Dan studied that for a while, "a ditch..... I can probably jump over it, but it will be dangerous if I trip and twist my ankle, and it is too much or a hassle to walk all the way to the bridge." He smirked at Jotaro, "hey Jotaro, make a bridge with your body and let me pass!"
"............"
"What? You are not going to do it?" Dan stared.
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"I'm you to be a bridge!! Jackass!!!" He was going to hit his leg on a stela. Yet again, Eye of Truth tied his leg to stop him.
"Hurting yourself isn't good ha?" Oliver added. And now it is Dan who was driven mad, "you little bitch!!! Stop being like a bodyguard of them!!!" He slapped her face, Oliver felt that her neck was twisted as her head turned, she stepped back a little, covered her neck.
"......!!!" Jotaro held his fists, lay on the ditch as a bridge. Dan laughed, walk on him and jumped, "good, the bridge is pretty strong... hahahahah" Jotaro could not hold it anymore, he was about to fall, yet Dan stepped on his hand, laughed.
Oliver bit her lips, he had to pay for that.
