Noble Man

  Elena tells me she undaggered Elijah and that she's coming to get me over the phone. I make sure I'm ready to go. She pulls up I get in the car were. She and Elijah are conversating.

  "You look better, Mr. Noblewiseman." I say to Elijah

  "Thank you. Where did you get the dagger, Elena?" He asks getting straight to the point

  "I'll tell you everything. But we have to all work together, Elijah. I need your word." Elena bargains

  "Your ability to make demands has long passed" Elijah says coldly

  "Look Mr. Suitman... Elijah, we're not demanding. Are trying to make a simple bargain. Our help in exchange for yours."

  "And why should I even consider this?" He doubts

  "The same reason you haven't killed me. You need our help to kill Klaus. And I need you" she pleads her phone then rings and she answers.

  "Where are you? Are you ok?" Stefan asks through the mobile device

  "Yes, I'm fine. Maddy is with me."

  "Where's Elijah."

  "He's right here, Steffyboy!" I say using a sing-song voice

  "Where? I'm on my way." Stefan states

  "No, Stefan. Elijah, Maddy and I need some time alone."

  "Listen to me. He can't be trusted he'll use you to get to Klaus" Stefan warns

  "Elijah is a noble man, Stefan. He lives by a code of honor. We can trust him. He knows I'd be incredibly stupid to betray him again. By removing the dagger I have proven myself"

  "Speak for yourself on trust. I trust few and am suspicious of many until trust is earned" I say

  "You guys can't do this alone" Stefan states

  "It's our decision, please respect it" Elena pleads

  "Yeah, and make sure Damon doesn't do anything epically stupid. We'll be in touch" I add

  "He's here" Elena admits

  "Dracula" I elaborate further

  "Klaus is here?"

  "No shit. Who else, the tooth fairy? For someone so old you seem very dumb right now"

  "He's taken over Alaric's body." She says rolling her eyes at my commentary

  "Of course he has. One of his favorite tricks" he shakes his head

  "Well, what are his other circus tricks?" I ask

  "What she means is, what is he going to do next. You're the only one who knows him"

  "Yes, I do." Elijah says glancing at me 

*time skip (20 min later)

  We arrive at my house and ring the doorbell my mother answers.

  "Madison? What are you doing here with Elena and Elijah? What happened?"

  "I've had a bit of an incident, Carol. I'm hoping you could help?" He says normally

  "Well, I'm on my way to a meeting. So I-" my mother starts before being compelled

  "It won't take but a minute of your time"

  "Of course. Anything you need" my mom smiles

  "Thank you" Elijah says before we all enter. "Well, first things first I'm going to need a change of clothing"
