"CAN YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY?!" I yelled at my math teacher. "Ms Amelia!" She yelled at me as I stormed out of the classroom. "I'm sick and tired of all these old witches telling me what to do and what not to do." I walked out of that school not expecting what was going to happen that day.
Let me introduce myself my names Amelia but I hate that name so my friends call me Emmy and when I mean friends I mean my 2 friends Jessica (Jess) and Samuel (Sami) I met Jess when we were kids because we both got put into foster care
I met Sami in a holding cell (long story I'll tell you later) Jess Sami and I, how do I put it, we take care of each other because we don't have anyone else to. My dad left us when I was 6. my mom however, she's a little more complicated.
My mom depends on her boyfriends to take care of us. At first it was fine the boyfriends were mostly older men but then they started getting worse. The first time one of them ever laid a hand on me was when I was around 10
It started way before with my mom. She turned to drugs and alcohol so we moved into trap houses and she started selling her body on the street to be able to afford drugs. She got clean, relapsed, got clean again, relapsed, CPS took me, I got put into foster care and they didn't let me have any form of contact with her.
I haven't talked to her in 4 years and I haven't seen her in 6. Sometimes I miss her, but sometimes I remember that if she missed me like I missed her she would be clean and would've been fighting for me by now.
Jess, her stories a little different, her mom died of cancer when she was 5 and her dad became a horrible abusive alcoholic. Her older brother would take care of her but when she turned 8 her jumped off a bridge. CPS put her in foster care when they found out about her dad. She bounced from foster homes for 4 years before we met.
We were both 12 at the time. Our foster mom was amazing. She felt like the only real mom I ever had. Until she died of a heart attack. Jess and I got separated but we kept in touch ever since.
Sami doesn't really talk about his past but this is all I know for right now. His father was deported when he was 8 and started a while knew family and forgot about him. His 2 brothers were his best friends he talks about them all the time.
They always did everything for him and when his family couldn't afford to live anymore they joined a gang. One day he walked into his room and they were packing and telling his to keep everything he knows a secret. He does to this day.
His brothers ran away and he hasn't seen them since. That was 2 years ago. His mom works 2 jobs to provide for him and his little sister. He's really great full for everything he has and he makes sure we are too. One day his little sister got really sick and they could've afford to get her the medication she needed so he stole it from the cvs.
He had never done that before so he got caught right away, but instead of staying there and telling them it was a mistake, he ran. The caught him and since he's a minor they took him to a holding cell and that's where we met.
I was in the holding cell because I stole my foster moms car and got pulled over because I didn't have my headlights on. I was 14 at the time. Jess and I are both 16 and Sami's 17 but we all act like we're brother and sister even though we have no blood relation. So yeah that's us.
