-Thursday, October 31st, 2016, 2:57 P.M.-

Nick checked his watch a few times to check what was taking Deliah a million years to come out. Eventually, she hopped out of the school, backpack in hand, huge grin sweeping across her face. Confused, Nick couldn't wait to let her in, as he unlocked the doors to let her in, he gave her a slight smile.

"DAD DAD DAD DAD DAD DAD..." She went on

"WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT..." He mocked

"I have some big news..." Deliah said whilst opening her napsack. It looked heavy. "Sorry for taking forever, I had to stay and talk with one of the people's that run the activities and such foooooorrrr... THIS!!" She panted heavily from talking so fast as she pulled out a piece of paper. Nick, confused, asked "...What is that?" "OH YEAH! WENT OFF GUARD...!" She said while staring into space. "It's a form! I've decided I'm gonna join BASEBALL!" Deliah said ecstatic. "That's not something I could see you doing at all." Nick laughed, "Anywho, we best get going, girlie! I've got a little surprise for you at home!" "Okie Dokie." She agreed.

-10 minutes later: home-

Nick parked his car just outside of the house, Deliah running to the door before he could even unlock it. "Woahwoahwoah relax!" He laughed whilst unlocking the door. Deliah bolted in jumping onto Springtrap's lifeless body. "HEY DUDE! WAKE UP!" She yelled with a polite tone. The green, reddish-brown-stained robot sitting up from the couch, his light pink eyes lit up when he saw that Deliah was home.

"Yeah, what's up?" The robot said in a tired tone.

Deliah grabbed Springtrap's hand and pulled him into her bedroom.

Nick sat on the couch. He looked at his hands as he overheard Deliah talking about her day.

KNOCK

KNOCK

KNOCK

Nick stood up from the couch and opened the door. A blonde fella with pretty blue eyes stood. Yeah, he's edgy, so what? He's still a handsome boi according to his... girlfriend! Anyways, this is Harry. He's kinda the icon of the neighbourhood. Likes being edgy, and very obviously has a crush on Deliah. He'd literally do anything for that girl.

"Oh, er, hey Harry, what's up?" Nick said in a slightly sad tone.

"Nothing, I was just wondering if Deliah wanted to hang out."

"Yeah, uh, I'll go get her."

Nick walked over to Deliah's room and knocked on the door, "Hey, hun, Harry wants to know if you want to hang out with him."

"Okay, just gimme a sec!" She said happily, he heard a loud crash and "ow" from the other side of the door. Nick chuckled and walked away. Springtrap walked into the living room without Nick noticing.

Nick wandered into the living room seeing Springtrap sitting on the couch, he felt a wave of dull anger that dampened his earlier happy spirit but decided to turn his attention towards the tv, which was making sharp beeping noises. A reporter on the TV was speaking a foreign language, which sounded like french, the bottom of the screen read,

"WARNING! DEADLY STORM SPREADING, UNKNOWN SIDE EFFECTS, STAY AWAY FROM THE SOUTH BORDER OF PARIS, NORTHEAST NEXT TO FALL TO DISEASE"

Springtrap pressed the off button a little too hard, seeing the screen blip off "I'm sure it's nothing really, there's always some new disaster in Europe." Nick said now leaning on the couch behind Springtrap.

"I'm ready to go!" Deliah sprinted out of the room, sneakers untied and hair frizzy. "Woah, hold your horses!" Nick stated, stepping out of the way of her path before being ran into. "Harry isn't going anywhere." He pulled her hair back into a ponytail and forced her to tie her shoes before she trips and breaks a bone or something! He held the door open as she ran out, meeting Harry on the sidewalk.

As Nick stood in the doorway watching her happily skip down the road towards the school, he felt a presence behind him. "She's such a happy child," said a low, static voice behind him. "Like you would be the one to know," He said with a soft disgusted tone, glaring at the massive robot that creaked as it walked back towards the couch to wait for Deliah's return. Nick sighed, grabbing his keys off the kitchen counter. He knew that work didn't start for another hour but lied anyway, "I'm heading off to work," He never finished that sentence, having no more to say and only sighed, closing the door behind him.

As Deliah skipped down to the school, she noticed it wasn't busy like it normally should be, but, as much as the airhead she is, it didn't really faze her. "This doesn't seem right." Harry said. "What?" she replied in confusion. "Wouldn't there be more people? I mean, who doesn't wanna join baseball! It's a little strange, this place is usually packed." "It doesn't concern me. I think it's fine!" she replied joyfully "Okay..." Harry whispered to himself and threw a long pitch to Deliah whilst walking, grinning as she dropped it clumsily.

They walked into the school, nobody was there. Not a single person but the 2 of them. It was dark, echoey. Something was clearly off. The floors looked clean, obviously, nobody has been here. They walked into the designated classroom only to find... Hey! Somebody has been here! But they didn't recognize the boy. He was a little redhead boy, seemed nervous, confused, fidgeting with his shirt, and mumbling stuff under his breath. He jumped about ten feet when he noticed they were in the room. "Yo, you here for practice?" Harry asked rather loudly for such a quiet environment. "Oh! Yes.. yes--that's what I'm here for, I just d-don't do well by m-myself that's a-all. Hate the loneliness, very empty, too much room." He kept on mumbling and Harry gave Deliah one-na those; 'This dude is totally crazy' looks. Deliah looked at him wide-eyed understanding as she was getting a little freaked out. She put on her best-winning smile and walked over to him, "No worries! You're not alone anymore! We're going to have so much fun at baseball practice, I've-" The power flickered and the monitor at the front of the room restarted, illuminating the room with a blue-ish tint. "Uh... Okay--This is fine. Just a storm...-" Harry exclaimed, Also a little too loudly. "STORM! I hate storms! Just as bad as emptiness! I don't like it, I don't like it, I don't like..." he kept mumbling the same phrase over and over while rocking himself back and forth. "Hey dude, I think practice might be canceled. Wanna just head out with me and Dels here?" Deliah gave another welcoming smile. And he nodded hesitantly, standing up on long, bone-thin legs. He was unusually skinny, but Deliah just shrugged, and they made their way back through the front of the school, never to see the quiet, empty halls of the school again.

-Present time: Nick's candy shop-

Business was slow, as usual. Nick rubbed his eyes, he hardly ever slept anymore and the dark circles under his eyes were practically permanent at this point. He leaned against the counter and turned his attention to the TV, something that had blended into the background earlier yet now he couldn't look away. "PLEASE STAY INDOORS! PREPARE FOR THE WORST STORM SPREADING ACROSS THE STATES, AVOID NEW YORK SQUARE..." the news reporter was yelling over a storm, and the TV went into to static completely fuzzing out, then turned to a storm warning that bleeped loudly. His co-worker came out of the stockroom carrying a box "Hey Jason, I think I'm going to go home early today, I have to pick my daughter up. Think you could cover for me?" He glanced at the door quickly, wanting to leave as soon as possible. "Sure thing, but you're stocking next time." he said heaving a very heavy box down and unloading the contents inside it. "Can do, Jace, see you tomorrow"

He got into his car in a hurry, pulling out his phone and dialing Deliah's number, and when there was no signal he tried Harry's. Still nothing. He began to panic, trying to call her three more times before deciding to just drive to the baseball field to get her. He tried his best to stay calm and focused on balancing the speed limit, he gripped the wheel, his fists turning white and made a sharp left turn into the parking lot of the field. He swiftly got out closing the door behind him and was only greeted by silence and emptiness of a lifeless field. A flyer advertising for who knows what blew across the field, and only then did Nick notice the clouds turning darker, the wind growing faster. He decided to head to the school next, this time not bothering with the speed limit since no one else was on the road. He sped there at lightning speed only to find an empty courtyard, and darker clouds growing on the horizon. He ran up to the dark doors, trying one then the other. Both were locked, and after furious knocking, he tried to call Deliah again. Still nothing. He started to have a panic attack, and got into the car, shakily trying to place the key into the ignition. He sped off, racing the dark, threatening clouds back to the only other place they could be. Hopefully...
