Carter Gray POV

i arrived on campus dormitory , i took the boxes and luggage filled with my stuff , i could barely carry . i'm a light traveler actually , i don't bring many stuff , just one box and a luggage for clothing's , suddenly i hear a familiar voice

"carter?" a male voice that's way too familiar for me to hear , oh it's Matt  , my high school ex.. still in his usual tanks and jogging pants with his charming smile and wavy brown locks , oh yeah i remember he's cheated on me with my best friend , then i smiled and looked away 

"you go here too?" he asked suprised

"yeah" i answered shortly

"well i go here too, uh .. um what major are you taking?",do you umm need help with that?"     he said as he see me struggles to carry the box and my luggage the same time , can't stand with the unnecessary conversation he's trying to produce , i put the the box on my hand rather harsly to the cap of my car and stared to his eye .

"What is it Matt?" I asked him

"Woah chill .. I was just trying to be friendly , you know after what happened "  He said to me

"Whatever" I said as i grabbed back my box and walk away from him

"Me and Cassie broke up" He said still following behind me , and i get more irritated with the mention of my so called bestfriend who went behind my back and sleeps with Matt  .

"None of my business Matt" I said as i continue to walk away from him .

"You know Carter , if you weren't such a prude that night when i wanted you , i wouldn't have cheated on you" Matt said taunting me .. Well he's definetely got my full attention now

I turned back to him

"What did you say?" I asked fuming

"You heard me" He said

"Well Matt , doesn't matter that , if you had a slight dignity , there shouldn't be a cause, now go punch yourself " I said staring deeply to him . as he widened his eyes , and balled his fist ,

"What are you doing????!!" He yelled to me , his eyes were wide .. Not believing what he was about to do to himself 

"Me?? What are you doing Matt?" I asked back to him , playing dumb , as i watched his fist hits his eye with a full force .

He landed on the grass below me as i walked over him to my dormitory ..

Well isn't this an exciting first day , i got my keys to my room , luckily for me i was the first one there , so i get to choose my bed , i choose the one nearby the window , as i start to sort out my stuff and emptying my box on the bed , my father Gun came out from the box .

Oh my God , my eyes went wild , my dad must've snuck the gun in the box , when me and mum wasn't looking , i quickly ran to the door to lock it , before anyone can come in , and quickly hide the gun underneath my bed , i hope nobody finds it .

And the door handles moved while i was still tidying up my things , must be my roomate , i went to unlock it , and a girl with with a short boyish black hair came in , she has a bright blue eyes and red lipstick on her , wearing loose T's and black jeans  , she doesn't seem to fit this whole uni thing , she just doesn't look like she's a uni student ,  i feel like she's too old for uni , i mean she looks older .

"Hey roomie" She said to me smiling
"Hi , i'm Carter -- Gray " I said with a pause .

"Eris ,you know i wouldn't bother taking my stuff out if i were you " She said to me

"And why is that?" I asked her not understanding what she meant ..

"Don't worry , i was kidding" She said as she smiled at me and went to my bed as she slipped her hand underneath my bed and pulled out my dad's gun .

"You know .. You can get in trouble with this" She said as she twirled the gun in front of me

"Eris put it back !! How did you know? I put it there before you came in" I asked her

"I read futures , i know what you are" She said to me .

"I don't know what you're talking about" I said as i took the gun back in my hand and put it in my bag , and left her in my room ,as i go out for a walk
Something is really off about her , i decided to call my father .

(On call conversation)
(C: Carter -- J: Jim /dad)

C : dad?
J  : Carter ? How's everything?
C : you know you slipped your gun in the    box right? Well my roomate , i suppose her name is Erin , she came by and just know where i put the gun which is very weird , and she said she reads future? Like what the hell?
J : is this some kind of tomboy-ish girl with black hair ?
C : yeah , how'd you know?
J : Carter run , they've found you, did you do something to expose yourself??
(Suddenly a scream was heard from the other side of the phone , a scream that belongs to my mother)
J  : Carter !! They're here !! I'm sorry .you have to run Carter! I'm sorry i have to go (another of my mum scream)
C : dadd???? Is that mum??? DAD?!!! what happened??!

-- and the line went dead--

What's going on i thought ?
I exposed myself? How?
What happened?

Suddenly a loud bang was heard as i looked up , it was from my room .
